Must try the torta francesa! Can someone put find out the hours. We wanted to go back but not sure what time they close. Few places have good salsa and food but this place did it!

Seth and I are HUGE breakfast burrito fans. We are regulars here because these guys make an awesome burrito. They put them together quickly and are the sweetest. Not to mention their salsa is on point-nice and spicy! If you are in the area you must stop by for breakfast. Lots of traditional Mexican dishes as well.

The green chili pork dish is really good! This place is so good it’s in a gas station but don’t let that keep you from having some of the best traditional Mexican dishes. The prices are good for most dishes but their Tortas I think are over priced.

The food is fresh and fantastic! Don’t let the gas station location throw you off, this is some great Mexican food. Very clean too. I had the Huevos Gusto and it was a LOT of food, two people could easily split this plate. The rice and beans were so delicious that I’d be glad to eat just those and tortillas.

Great place for tacos and Mexican tortes. You really get what you pay for. Hole in the wall type of place, but they are bilingual.

Oh my goodness, the food at Tortas DF is unbelievably delicious, and the friendly service makes the experience even better. Yes, it is a very unassuming place(a «hole in the wall»), and it’s adjacent to an Exxon station, but who cares about all that… they make the best Tortas around.(For reference, we had the Cubana and the Texana — both were spectacular.) As other reviewers have mentioned, the portions are quite large, but of course you can take your leftovers to go. This is a hidden gem, and a must-try. And it’s very easy to get to, right off Hwy 121. We will definitely return.

The best tortas I have ever had. The place is definitely a hole in the wall and actually is attached to a gas station, but the food is amazing and the people are very nice and friendly. Granted the tortas are almost twice as expensive as some other places – I paid $ 14 for a combo with fries and a drink – but it’s because the tortas are twice as big as anywhere else, and they are also twice as delicious. I could not believe the size of the tortas when I first saw them. Honestly, I would bring a friend and split a torta, as you will still both walk out more than completely full. The food is very flavorful, with ingredients you don’t always see. I will definitely be coming back.

Not sure the draw of this place. Yes, the Torta is huge! Ordered the Cubana and the beef was inedible — too tough to chew. The rest of the sandwich was ok, but gave me a tummy ache(grease?) Nothing I’d go out of my way for. Check for coupons.

I am obsessed with this place!!! This is the place to go for a damn good breakfast burrito! They never disappoint with the quality of their food, I tell everyone about this place because it is to die for. Prices are very affordable as well, for $ 4 you can get a huge breakfast burrito you probably won’t even finish. Service is always top notch as well! Let’s just say this place rocks!!!

I’m not from Dallas, guess I need to get used to taco restaurants in or near a gas station. This one is connected to one. The service was very friendly, the food was excellent(they are from Mexico City, authentic flavors!). If I lived here, I’d eat here once a week!

This is just my style. Unassuming joint inside of a gas station. I ate the Cubana Tortas that was amazing. It is big enough for two. I am a big eater and could only finish half for my lunch. All of the other items looked very reasonably price. Really good food, very nice people and excellent service.

Amazing service. I work just down the road and stop by once a week or so. Honesty, I’ve only tried one thing, the Mexican burger. A beef burger with ham, and guacamole on it. If they can make a burger taste so good I can only imagine what the Mexican food taste like.
