Mattress Discounters Lexington PK 2

Think long and hard before you shop at this store! Last tues evening my husband I and spend 4 longs hours there. The salesman, Scott, was very chatty and the mattress sale only took about an hour. The rest of the time was total BS and a lot of sea stories. He took us thru the process, steered us to the set he wanted us to buy (yes we felt a little railroad) and got us all set up. A delivery date was set. The day of delivery came and my husband and I had the room cleaned and the old set moved out already. So, basically all the two movers had to do was bring in the new bed, set it up, put on the protectors, take the old stuff out and leave. BUT no it couldn’t be that simple. One man came in the house, he could barely speak english, said no, wouldn’t take old stuff and walked out. The other guy didn’t speak english at all. We had no idea what was going on. The one that could speak english got on the phone with his supervisor who in turn called us and told us what was going on. The delivery man said that he saw one bedbug crawling on the boxspring and therefore could not remove the old bed. Plus he could only bring the new $ 4100 to the front door. We would have to figure out how to bring it in the house. Oh and by the way, this also voids any and all warranties you have!
We were stunned and shocked… there is no way we had bedbugs. The delivery guy is not trained to detected but they were more than happy to take his word over ours. The company said that we would have to get a company in to inspect and certify that DID NOT have bedbugs before anyplace would delivery which absolutely is NOT true. But for our peace of mind we paid for an inspection and now have the certification to prove that we DO NO HAVE BED BUGS!!! Mattress Discounters lost a $ 4100 sale based on the word of an poorly speaking delivery man!

This is the place to buy your mattress. Ask for Sid, and she will make sure you find a good mattress at a good price. None of the mattresses here are chintzie. The store has affordable mattresses, but make no mistake, this place has quality, even with their budget lines. I needed 2 guest bed mattresses, so did not want to spend a lot. I went to 6 other mattress places in the area, so I know. I tested many bad mattresses, and in the end, I came back to this store. Sid gave me an honest and professional presentation, and she spent the time. No in-​and-​out here. I loved her caring spirit and she really does a great job of customer service. Their warranty is also the best I found. So go there!
