When talking about Mike’s Bikes, you have to talk about Mike. He’s also a rough kind of fellow: not exceptionally polite or kind, and he always seems to be resting in his chair amidst dozens of repairs. Safety seems to be Mike’s number 1 priority. He’ll give you a helmet when you take a bike for a test drive. He’s even the type to just go right in and put the helmet on your head for you. Mike also likes Bikes. Jeff P. seems to have interpreted this as «snobbery», but it’s just that he really feels like a high quality product is worth the money put into it, and everyone should consider it. He’s just not a good salesman. It also smells like dog and oil in there.

Bike snobbery! Ultra-high end selection & prices only. Was looking for a bike for my 11yr old’s birthday. Mike even measured him for a right sized frame too. Friendliness went out the door when I told him my budget. Started to berate me for what I was looking for. Never going back. Also the whole place reeks of dog urine, glad his German Shepard decided not to attack me.

A bit rough around the edges but this is a great place to purchase a quality bike. Fortunately I havent had to take them up on their servicing/repair yet but I am certain they stand by their work and will do a great job.
