The 411: this is a gas station roughly 2 miles from Saint Mary’s College of Maryland. It serves cheap, decent pizza and good sanniches. The rest is pretty much gas station stuff. This place is one of two locations remotely near the SMCM campus. I’ve had some pretty decent meals from here, and the servings they give you are generous! It’s hard to mess up an Italian cold cut with extra hot peppers. This place makes a decent hoagie! They have a few sanniches that are their own recipe that people enjoy a lot, including the ciabatta mama and ciabatta Dan. Their large pizza is really big! And pick up of a large pizza with 1 – 2 toppings is a pretty good deal. It’s not the best pizza you’ll ever have, but it is arguably just as good as papa johns. Bottom line: this is the silver lining to the otherwise dead food scene for SMCM. Because they’ve treated me well and are good to the campus students, they deserve high regards in my book. Beware, for this place closes pretty darn early in the evening.

The pub part reminded me of a biker bar. I walked in looking for food, then walked next door to the liquor store for a sandwich(which was awesome). I hear the pizza is AMAZING. On my must-try list.

Excellent food. Service is great at lunch time. Service can be spotty for dinner and they unfortunately close the kitchen on weekends.
