Absolute Tranquility on Muzzy Street in Lexington provides a great experience, from her massages tailored to a client’s requests to the serene, pretty rooms in her studio. Kristina is excellent – has a great touch and is the best massage therapist I have been to in the area. I love how peaceful it is in her massage room; she is not chatty, which I find disconcerting in some massage therapists, and there is quiet music and low lighting. I recommend her highly.

I can’t find a better massage therapist. Believe me, I tried after I moved away from Lexington. It’s like finding the perfect pair of jeans, not an easy task. After telling my husband sometime back in the summer that she was by far my absolute most-favoritist MT, he got me a gift certificate on the sly. It took me a really long time to use it(I used it last night) and this morning my trapezoids did a happy dance. There are many new shop additions to Lexington Center but I’m happy to know that Absolute Tranquility is still there.

Kristina gave an absolutely fabulous massage. I had a medical condition(recently had surgery) that requires special consideration; she asked a lot of questions and paid close attention to the areas I specified, which was great. I’ve been to a number of massage therapists who haven’t paid such specific attention to my requests. I felt a lot better after the massage(60 minute deep tissue). The place itself is super cute, too: comfy chairs, chocolates/candies about, coffee, calm music, the works. Kristina absolutely respected my privacy and was very sweet. I highly recommend her!

You know those days at work when, at about 1:15pm, your body says: «DONE. I’m not playing this game anymore.»? I hit that wall last Wednesday. Hard. Hanging over my co-worker’s desk, I blurted out, «I need a massage.» Next thing I know she’s on the phone calling to book me a massage for that night. Long story short, after a fair amount of phone tag, I finally got my 75 minute Hot Stone Massage scheduled for 12:30pm five days later. Needless to say, by the time I threw the car in to park in the lot beyond the building, I had achingly high expectations about what this event held in store. In the waiting room I discovered an assortment of teas, hot chocolates, and spiced apple cider. There was filtered water and small chocolates around. And large, over stuffed chairs to collapse in to while you filled out your paperwork(just a brief survey about your health. Pretty standard, I think). And silence. Complete and absolute silence. Ahhhh. I was already nearly comatose by the time I got in to the massage room. Walls were a soft, cooling blue. Big comfy chairs, a cushiony massage table, lots of fleece, and twinkling music. And the place smelled divine. I won’t go in to all the little details of the massage except to say that she asked questions at the beginning about my preferences and seemed to have listened. She paid special attention to my sore joints. She lay hot stones up and down my back, under my shoulders, in my palms, and on the souls of my feet. She gave me options about positioning and was perfectly respectful of privacy. Although I wasn’t able to immediately book this little gem of an hour and fifteen minutes, I trust that’s because of the popularity of the place and it only speaks to the quality of the experience.
