We were so thrilled to stumble upon Beach Basket this week. It’s wonderful to find a café committed to supporting local companies and farms — to healthy, delicious eating. Lots of options for eating restrictions, too, with milk substitutes and gluten-​free bread. Lexington has sorely missed a wonderful coffee spot, and Beach Basket fits the bill here, too. Best of all, though, they make amazing homemade batch ice cream in decadent flavors, like Nutella Swirl, Chocolate Almond, and Andes Mint. There are sugar-​free options, lactose-​free options, and even ice cream made from goat’s milk. Definitely stop by to check out this little gem. We will be back!

Super great sandwiches! You can’t go wrong with the smoked salmon sandwich or the prosciutto brie pear sandwich.
