Always love their beer. They do a good job of switching beers around, but also have their staples. I only wish they could get a bigger space, sometimes it can get a bit crowded in there… but I usually just stop in for a drink and fill up my growler.

I gave it a 2 because the beer was decent(my craft beer loving hubby esp. enjoyed the green chile beer), but the place was a hole in the wall that smelled strongly of dog pee. There were two dogs inside while I was there. I love dogs and don’t mind them inside, but the odor was too much to bear.

This is a pretty cool little brewery in downtown Lexington. It’s not far off the main streets and if you need some food there is a cool map on the wall. So, it’s a cool spot and a cool use of space. But the sheer inconvenience of the hours makes it difficult to go visit this brewery. Also, the beer wasn’t my favorite. I want to love it and I’m sure I’ll go back, but I’ll give this 3.5 stars(rounding up) for now.

A very small establishment in downtown Lexington. Great location, and it was exactly what I was looking for after a long day of touring the area. I considered driving out to Devil’s Backbone, but I’m glad I didn’t. There isn’t much room, but we arrived at 5:30-ish and were the only ones there for a bit. I don’t think they offer flights, which is my go-to at new breweries, but they will allow you to try anything on the menu. The owners were there serving drinks and were very friendly. There is no food, but other people brought their own and the owner seemed happy to give recommendations for other establishments downtown. In fact, the wall features a map of downtown restaurants. Thursday night is trivia night. I’ll be back if we’re in Lexington again. Oh yeah, the beer is good too!

If you’re ever in Lexington and you’re a fan of craft beer, then you need you stop by Blue Lab Brewing Company. This place is nestled in downtown Lexington, slightly off the beaten path. It is very small, but the vibe is fun, and the service is excellent. I didn’t think they did flights(I didn’t see it advertised, but I could be wrong!), but they let us try a few before we made our picks. The porter, IPA, and blond ale were all delicious. As I mentioned, it was very«intimate,» so you might want to get there sooner rather than later to ensure yourself a spot. We were leaving just as trivia night was beginning, and it was becoming rather packed. They also allow you to bring in your own food, so that is pretty cool since they don’t serve any. Overall, warm, awesome place with really good craft beer! We’ll definitely return if we’re ever in the area again!

Awesome brewery. Very small cool atmosphere. They had six of their beers on draft, all of them were very good. I definitely would recommend it to anyone that enjoys trying new beer.

Small business feel at its finest. When you find this place you’ll notice a few immediate things: 1. It’s small 2. It’s small Have I mentioned it’s small? But, good things come in small packages. Went here on a whim as we were kicking time waiting for our reservations at a nearby restaurant. Being the beer snob I am, I was ready for the flight. 1 word — Awesome. I was very pleased with these beers. After having a discussion with the staff and the owner I could tell that these people are in it for the sake of making good beer. No immediate plans to «go big» or be all crazy. Just good, wholesome beer at an affordable price. It really is a local gem. I’m a bit disheartened by the fact that I know I won’t be able to try their beers unless I make the hike up there. There isn’t much else to say about this place as it has one focus — beer… and they do it right. =) If you’re in this area, don’t hesitate to check it out! Food taste — 4 Overall Service — 5 Value — 5 Facility — 5 Repeat customer? — absolutely

Small little brewery which has great beers. Better than Devil’s Backbone in my opinion though there are no snacks and little seating, but the reason to come here is the beer which is good.

Good local brewery with very reasonable beer tasting options to include growlers and clothing. Has the local hole in the wall feeling with some great beers to sample or purchase. Convenient to downtown as a nice place to walk to along with whatever else you are doing in Lexington.

New venture for some Lexington minks. The IPAs were delish and the mascot is hard not to love.
