Great food and service. So many different kinds of meats to try. Everything was wonderful.

Had a great first time experience. After reading reviews on here I had to say I was skeptical. We were seated right away, they took our coupons, & drink order. The buffet had plenty of tasty sides to choose from and we didn’t wait long between meats. The servers were very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to our next trip back.

Brazil Grill is one of those places that you could easily pass over on the road. From the outside it looks like a little run down house. Once you step out of your car however, you know there’s something wonderful inside. The smell of the smoker around back is wonderful. They have a buffet inside with a lot of different salads and Brazilian side dishes. Arroz carreteiro was one of my very favorite sides. They give you a little card with red on one side and green on the other. A server comes around with different meats from off of the grill and as long as your card is turned to green, the meat keeps coming. They have several varieties of chicken, lamb, beef, and pork. They are all so juicy and spiced to perfection. The décor is the only reason I wouldn’t give this place a 5. The servers are super friendly and it was just an all around fun time!

I’ve been here a couple of times and each time was great. I was seated both times when I arrived for my reservation and began eating up immediately. There’s such a constant stream of food that you really have to make yourself slow down to make sure that you can save room for it all. The hot dishes such as the feijoada and the rices are almost reason enough to come by themselves. The service has always been great when I’ve been there(both times on a Friday evening) and the staff has always been incredibly kind and helpful. They brought us out a ton of fried bananas all night because we talked about how much we enjoyed them. Both times I’ve been I’ve used a Groupon, but I had planned on paying full price without any qualms. I can see why it might not be some people’s cup of tea, based on the way the service works and the décor, but I really enjoy it. I feel like I can relax and fill myself with as much food as I want at whatever pace feels right. Look forward to returning sometime in the future!

Very unpretentious on the outside, but definitely a nice restaurant. If you like Brazilian steakhouses, this one is great for the money. Affordable and family-owned. Be patient as the service, while good, is a little bit casual. Recommended.

This place is great. I think the owner is the guy who does the cooking, and he always comes around the tables to explain how things work, and is a generally nice and funny guy. The food is all fresh and delicious. The only negative I could possibly say is that a lot of the meat seems to be seasoned similarly, so you don’t hit a wide variety of flavors for the different meats, however, the nice smokey flavor is great. Don’t let the outside of the building fool you, it looks like an old house, but it holds a great restaurant.

I went with my wife and all and all it was ok. It doesn’t stand up ATALL to the more expensive Brazilian streak houses BUT it gets the job done. Smaller selection all around but servers owner were all nice and accommodating. Worth trying but you very what you pay for. I’d go back.

When you first pull up you kinda wonder for a second if you should move on to another place untill the smell sucks you in. Our visit was awesome! The food was so tasty. There was so Much of it to. I can’t stress enough that you have to come with a large appetite. You will want to try it all! Its a bit pricy but with what you get its authentic and flavorful. It’s worth it to me. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Reduced to three stars, why? Because our visit this weekend was nothing like when we first visited. 1. The Service. Slow. Not just a little slow, EXTREMELY slow. No dedicated waitress, water, drinks sat empty for awhile. I finally went up to the counter and asked for assistance. I even said we’d gladly take a pitcher of ice water to sit at our table of six people. Nope. 2. Meat Service. SSSLLLOOOOWW… It took upwards of 15 minutes between the gaucho to come through with a new selection of meat and it was not meat each time. They offered grilled pineapple at one rotation. It was decent, but we waited another 9 minutes for any type of meat to arrive. While we were there we were offered bacon wrapped chicken 3x, Cupim 1x, filet mingon bacon wrapped once 1x, sirlion 1x, grilled pineapple 1x. The chicken was good. The Cupim was too done for my liking and was not as flavorful as I remember. The sirloin had too much gristle. My sons could not chew it and left a mound of it on their plates. The filet was very good. 3. Buffet. There is no place for you to set your plate down to lift up and set the lid backwards to get the food. They really need to invest in buffet servers with build in lids that slide. +Please note, no rice was brought back out the entire time were visited. It remained empty. No extra normal sized plates are provided table side, nor are they at the buffet. Some small bowls, yet. I watched other guests take the same plate back to the buffet they used the prior time to get more food. Prices appear to have went up to $ 49.99 per person and now reservations are recommended. For what we had been offered this is not $ 49.99 per person, plus drinks and dessert. Sorry. This place has a lot of potential, but it needs to focus on their waitstaff attending to the customers. A solid rotation on meat offering that doesn’t have their customers waiting 10 to 15 between, because you end up eating off the buffet and you’ve just paid $ 49.99 for side items.

I’ve eaten here twice, both times on Friday evenings. After my first visit, I would have probably rated it a 4, but after the most recent one, I really can’t go above a 3. Most of meats are really good, which is obviously the focus of the restaurant and some of the hot and cold bar items are good as well. There are a few issues I have with it though: first is the price. They’ve been open less than a year and have already raised their prices to $ 39 per person(does not include drinks or dessert). The first time we went, they brought several different types of fresh bread to the table throughout the meal, but those were nowhere to be found this time. Also, they stopped serving us meat after about 40 minutes(even though our cards were still on green and we had requested more). Many of the meats I received were so fatty that I could only eat half of them, so I really didn’t get much food for the $ 39 price. Additionally, the atmosphere and décor are very strange for a place where a dinner for two will cost you at least $ 100 with tip. Lots of plastic, tacky, and mismatched decorations. I love the concept of this restaurant and was really hopeful that they would continue to improve and become one of my favorite Lexington places, but it seems to rapidly be getting worse(while also getting more expensive). I don’t plan to return.

This IS my favorite restaurant in Lexington. The food is beyond the scope of description, you have to experience it! Everything is prepared on a grill outside with no seasonings but a special Brazilian salt used. Even the pineapple is grilled and flavored from the smoke and fats from the meats. Save the calories and skip lunch the day you go, you’ll want plenty of room to enjoy every ounce of flavor here. Family ran, they could not be more hospitable to you. You’ll leave, tell everyone you know about the amazing meal, and dream of coming back!

I just want to start this by saying I did not try the food here. The outside was very run down but I read other reviews that the food was good so I thought we would go ahead and eat despite the way it looked on the outside. We showed up about 5 minutes before they opened. We were standing out front when it hit 4pm, so my husband went ahead and called to make sure they would be opening soon. The woman who answered argued with him about what time it was, saying it was 3:50p. That coupled with the way the building looked made me feel differently about where I chose to spend my money, so we told them to just cancel the reservation and that we would be leaving when they opened the door. We went to our car and a woman actually came out the side door and tapped on my car window. I rolled down the window and she said — «you’re canceling because we’re 1 minute late?». I responded yes that we would be eating somewhere else and she held up her finger at me and said«so sorry it was 1 minute» and just walked off. It was incredibly rude and sarcastic, and I can’t imagine that running out a side door to approach a car aggressively is a way to encourage customers to come back to your business. This was a terrible experience and I hope this review will help save you the trouble. I wish I could give 0 stars.

So I was visiting Lexington and having been to lots of Brazilian churrascarias all over the country I figured I would try my luck and see if I could find one. Only one showed up and so into navigate it went. As we pulled into the parking lot my wife got scared and said, maybe we should go somewhere else. Luckily we had driven far enough to decide it was to far and to late to find something else. Fate was on our side because the food was fabulous. This is an authentic Brazilian churrascaria, not a watered down Americanized version(fogo De Chao… cough). If the sizzler is your favorite steak house, this isn’t the place for you. The food rivals the churrascarias in flavor of restaurants I have paid double or more the price for. The meats have authentic Brazilian savor and have been wood fired on the authentic Brazilian wood. I kept commenting that I couldn’t figure out how they are able to provide the authentic food at such a low price. The food was so good for the price that I am going 5 stars even with the non — optimal exterior. The waitress was very sweet and suggested the Brazilian lemonade, something I hadn’t seen before, it was fantastic, but I have a sweet tooth so I used all the sugar provided. Make sure your wife orders her own. It had all my favorites bacon wrapped filet and turkey, all the beef cuts and of course the bbq pineapple. If you want some fantastic authentic churrascaria in Lexington, this is the place to go. Once the meat lovers find this place they will need to expand.

What an excellent experience! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Be sure to try the Picanha, you can thank me later. The restaurant is very small so make reservations. The staff and owner were very friendly. The dinner is like a buffet with the cook bring around different cuts of meat so you can try lots of different cuts of meat. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like! The Picanha is a beef cut that is rarely done in the US but considered delicacy in Brazil. It is a small home converted into a restaurant so they don’t have lots of seating; which is why you should make reservations. It is a small yet charming place to spend an evening. This isn’t a mega chain so not everything is perfect about the building; however the food is outstanding!

Epic Failure! My mother in-law saw this place in the news and thought it looked like fun. We checked it out on Unilocal and thought it sounded good. Words of advice… stay away. Yes the building is small and a bit rundown… yes there are 9 tables and you need a reservation… But no none of those things excuse the experience. Let’s start with the«reservations.» We had a 6:30 reservation and were seated after 7. The first thing we are told after being seated is there is an appetizer they would be bringing over. Well 15 minutes in no appetizer so we decide to venture over to the salad bar. It was explained to include a variety of cold salads and hot items. The unfortunate part is they were all empty… And they stayed pretty much empty for the 90 minutes we were there. We get back to the table… And no one in sight forever and since we have no utensils we go searching to find our own silverware and napkins. Awesome. Then comes the skewers of meat… or lack there of. Meats would come out a couple at a time and be devoured by the table of hungry lions who had been waiting forever to eat them. Then they would go back to waiting 20 minutes for the next round. 20 minutes between meats! All this could maybe be excused with delicious food. Well there in is the biggest problem… The FOODWASNOTGOOD. Most if it tastes like you were licking the salt shaker… And many if the cuts of meat were charred to a serious well done. We have been to many Brazilian steakhouses in other cities and his one is not worth your hard earned buck. I am not a fussy eater at all and this place was tough for even me.

Just over the Bourbon County line, about 10 miles from New Circle, I experienced my first Brazilian Steak House. As I got out of the car, I smelled the aroma of smoked meat and knew I was in for a treat. Personally, I agree with my Unilocaler friend Eric, and I think that both the outside and inside could use some work. Artificial poinsettias in July?! Maybe that is a Brazilian thing that I don’t understand yet. Not a huge deal, but not a fancy steak house atmosphere. This place caught on fast and people who didn’t have a reservation were waiting for seat. So, do call ahead and make a reservation. The food was a 5 star experience. But I think that some of the featured items rotate. The table next to us asked about the puffs and the waitress said that they’re not offering those. We started with small portions of carb filled appetizers, served to us. They were good and one reminded me of a hush puppy. Then we went to the buffet to help ourselves to a variety of salads, rolls and rice. Then came the meats. They brought out each of the meats on skewers. A few, they sliced and then took back to be refired. I only know that because after they served us the brown, outer part of the meat, and then took back what was left to the kitchen area, a man from a table near us complained and then they explained that they didn’t just pass him up. My favorite meat was the bacon wrapped chicken. The flavors were out of this world! Top Sirloin, Filet Mignon, chicken legs, ribs… where else can you get all of that for $ 30?! I’m not a huge beef fan, so I turned my card to the stop signal sooner than my hubs. He was still going and one of the waitresses asked me if I wanted dessert, and I said sure and ordered one of each. She failed to mention they were $ 2.49 each and wasn’t included in the $ 30 price of the buffet. I pretty much expected the $ 2.49 soda charge but not the dessert charge. Again, not a huge deal but I HATE hidden or non disclosed extras. One good thing about the area is the patrons. We easily made conversation with the nice people beside of us. They told us that this place doesn’t have the variety of the Brazilian Steakhouses in Knoxville and Cincy. Then I found out he was a Unilocaler and found out about this place here ;) Yes, the owner was very nice and I almost hate leaving off the one star, but I have to be honest and give you the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

This place is close to Paris. If you aren’t looking you will miss it. The outside needs some work, but the food is really good. The owners are extreamly nice and will tell you everything you want to know about the culture and food from Brazil. It’s a little pricey, but you will not leave hungry. You get as much food as your stomach can hold.

Wood fired meat heaven! Bathed in spices and flavors out of this world! I love all of the complex flavors and different taste strata’s involved in the preparation of the different meats. My Fav was the Pork ribs! They sent us 5 different bread samplers from a cheese puff bread to a savory herb bread and slathered the appropriate bread with a honey cinnamon butter that contains a «secret» ingredient! You have to check out my pics for the deserts! Its hard to save room BUT its a Must!!! Coming soon a Brazilian drink called Caipirinha! Made from sugar cane! Can’t wait to try it!
