I’m a great fan of Allison Davis and her Wild Thyme, one of the better caterers in town. Caldo, her new venture, is about bone broth, new to Lexington. It is good, as are the Caldo «Chills» with a combination of fruit, veggies and other flavors –Clean and Green, Pom Passion (wonderfully tart), Optimal Orange (smooth and citrusy) and Wow Cachao (smooth and chocolatey). Other samples at her opening were kimchi and a delicious sauerkraut. (I was wishing there was a hot dog under it.) There are several Caldo «Crisps» as well, tasty sounding salads, although I have not tried them. Good luck to Allison in her new venture.
