I usually hate to shop, but I absolutely love to boutique shop in the Chevy Chase area. There are a hand full of similar local boutiques all in this same area, within walking distance. This one is my least favorite. Compared to the others, this one is a bit more over priced. Even the sale items seem a bit steep.
I did buy a bracelet and a necklace here once though. The necklace charm was shaped like the state. The bracelet was locally handmade and I still love it. Here is the story of the local lady who made the bracelet.
They didn’t have any in stock when I was there yesterday, but they might be able to order some. If not, now you too know where to get them.

I love Calypso so much! I live in Los Angeles, but whenever I get to go home to Kentucky, this is one of the only stores I always visit. I always come out with 1 – 2 dresses and some accessory I am sure to love and I never feel like I spent too much money. I have seen some of the same lines here in boutiques in LA and they are always marked up around double Calypso’s prices. The staff is so sweet, there really isn’t anything not to love.

. Since visiting Calypso, I really don’t think I’ll need those resources quite as much.
It is a wonderful little boutique with all of the latest trends. It’s definitely the perfect place to find a rad dress.
