Basis for a three-star(«less than enthusiastic») rating. Pricing is pretty doggone good; no complaints here on that. Serving sizes are also good. Food taste is only«average». There is so much competition locally for this cuisine, I can’t give you any reason why you should pick China Hut over any of the others. I assume they are doing very well, however. As this visit was my first ever, I announced this to the people behind the counter and asked if they had any specials for«first time» customers. The gal pointed me to the part of the menu for«lunch specials»… not exactly what I had in mind. I had been thinking maybe they made a practice of doing something special to enhance the first impression they would make with new customers. She seemed pretty disinclined to engage any further conversation on that topic. Perhaps it was a language issue, but it came across as «eat here or don’t; suit yourself, but we don’t do anything to make you a long-term regular» and that’s okay, too. Like I said… way too many options. I found no reason to go again personally, but let it also be understood that I found no reason to discourage others from eating here, unless you’re looking for something exceptional in the taste or customer engagement areas.

I had a large order and they were here in less than 15 minutes during rush hour. Bag contained plastic ware and all sauces and napkins. Sweet man.

The worst chinese food I have ever eaten and the rudest delivery person I have ever dealt with. I do NOT recommend China Hut. The food was just poor quality.

I found China Hut when I was college and ten years later I still order it for delivery. I really enjoy their food. Best General Tso’s chicken in Lexington and quick friendly delivery.

Consistently good food, consistently fresh. It is fast-casual Chinese food — a good place to get take out or delivery. They also have plenty of seating, since the building used to be a fast food restaurant before it became a Chinese restaurant. The seating is just the old seating that used to be there before. Not fancy, but a good place to bring family/kids, or just meet up with someone for a casual lunch. There is a $ 12 minimum order for delivery. For take-out you can call ahead and place your order and then just pick it up. I usually don’t call ahead. I usually just order when I get there, and wait. The wait is never very long. 10 minutes max to get my food. Whatever happened to the tall blonde guy who used to work there? I think his name was Chris something? Nice guy…
