Elk Creek Vineyard

Fantastic wine and delicious food.
You venture down a winding road through Kentucky horse country to this little gem. The property is well equipped for intimate to larger parties. The main building matches the wood lodge across the rows of grapevines in the vineyard.
As you walk up to the tasting room you can see the beginning of the wine making process where the grapes are collected and sifted. Inside the main building it feels as though you are whisked away to a ski lodge with warm lighting, wood beams framing the room and a beautiful stone fireplace. In the center of the room is the tasting bar where you can sample a variety of wines that fine-​tuned for your specific palate. The tasting is quite generous and affordable. The knowledgeable and hospitable staff is a treat to interact with. Free tours are also given of the wine cellar and entire operation from grape to bottle. Upstairs above the tasting room is a small art gallery with a collection from local artists who share their perspective of wine and the Elk Creek Vineyard.
The café features a wide range of lunch favorites such as soup and sandwiches. All are delicious and affordable. Make sure you leave with a bottle of your favorite wine to remember ths enchanting experience.
