I’d give this place a minus 1 if I could. All the charity work done sadly means nothing when in my opinion when regular business practices are shameful. Highly disappointed in promises made and broken. If a company cant keep its word, is it a company you want to be involved with? Pick whom you want to pick for your needs but I’m not going to recommend them to anyone I know.

Great company! Installed my new units quickly and efficiently. Prices were very competitive. Everyone I have dealt from the phone operator to the installers have been extremely friendly and helpful.

The communication between employees at this company gets a fat goose egg. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. I called to get help on my failing furnance and I couldn’t even get a estimate of how much it would cost to replace it a week after contacting this company. I had been a customer for years and its sad how the service has went down the tubes. Don’t get me wrong, everyone was very nice that I spoke with both over the phone and in person. However, that is not going to get a furnace installed. It just makes you feel like your getting ripped off or that your being pushed to the side because your just another number. Thankfully, I contacted another company who had me taken care of within 48 hours of my intial contact. Fayette Heating and Air gets 2 fat thumbs down and has permanently lost my business. Do your research before contacting them to complete important HVAC repairs.

After purchasing a newly constructed house, my HVAC unit stopped working after two years. I looked on the thermostat and found that this company performed the initial installation so I called them, assuming the unit would still be under warranty. When I spoke with the customer service rep, she took my information and verified that my unit was in fact still under warranty and they would have someone out the same day. Sure enough, about five hours later, two service techs showed up. They diagnosed the problem as a faulty circuit board and another minor issue with a fan and that the bad pieces would need to be replaced. They then pulled out a chart that showed the prices for parts and labor and then proceeded to tell me it would be over $ 1,600 do fix it. I told them that it was still under warranty and they told me that I was correct and that it would have been closer to $ 2,000 to fix if it were out of warranty. I thought they were joking, but sadly they weren’t. After I told them this was ridiculous, one of the techs said that an option for me would be to replace the entire unit at a cost of about $ 5,000. Again, I told them that the unit was only a couple of years old and there was no way I was getting a new unit and that I would not pay $ 1,600 for them to unscrew a circuit board and plug in a new fan. They then had the audacity to ask me to join something called the «comfy club» at an additional annual cost that would provide a small discount on the bill. I told them they needed to leave and then presented me a bill for $ 100 just for coming out!!! I called another company the next day and the issue was ultimately fixed for about $ 400. Please do yourself a favor and Google this business prior to using them and you will see that there are many others who have had the same issue with them.

A bit pricey, but they cam eout the next day and were very thorough.
They still messed up and there was a problem afterwards. I was a little annoyed that their stance was «well, it MAY not be our fault, in which case, you’ll have to pay.» But the guy came out the next day (again), found the fault (which was theirs) in no time and fixed it right up.
