I am a long-time JJill customer. Last year, I moved from San Francisco to Lexington and I was very sad to lose my connection with my local JJill store… everybody knew me, I knew all the salespeople, and if something came in someone knew I would like, I got a phone call. No, I’m not rich and I don’t spend thousands of dollars yearly at JJill, much less monthly. I enjoy the overall company philosophy, the styles and quality of clothing it carries, and the laid-back vibe in every JJill store I have ever been in. When I had been in Lexington just a few days, I received a call offering me an interview for a job I wanted… most of my clothes had not yet arrived, so I headed to Fayette Mall to look for something appropriate to wear to my interview. After exhausting visits to Macy’s, Dillards, and several other stores, I finally arrived at JJill. I hadn’t thought to find what I needed at JJill… I think of their clothes as being too casual for an interview. I was nearly in tears, 30 minutes until the store closed, and Lesley, the store manager, pointed me in exactly the right direction. Within minutes I was trying on a perfect outfit and left the store feeling like a million bucks. Some things I particularly love about the Lexington JJill location: Lesley is wonderful. They have been nice enough to order something for me from the store, over the phone, so I could save on shipping. My Honey loves the white armchairs and has spent many blissful minutes sound asleep in them. Yes, you WERE asleep. And on the rare occasions when I have needed to return something, I return it at the store and don’t have to answer 20 questions about why I didn’t like it. Tips for Unilocalers new to JJill: The Wearever line is the easiest line of clothing I have ever worn… always looks great, easy wash, travels well. Also, if you see something you love, don’t wait too long to buy it… when JJill sells out of something, they don’t get more. Happy shopping!
