Jet’s has the best deep dish pizza(that I’ve tried) in Lexington, but the regular crusted pizza is nothing more than a $ 5.00 Little Caesars pizza. No, I’m not a huge pizza fan, but I find myself in need of delivery occasionally and I’ve chosen Jet’s delivery twice. The last time, the girl on the phone was clearly new or discombobulated… bless her heart. I had a coupon for the deep dish. This time I chose the Aloha BBQ chicken pizza. It came with pineapples, chicken, bacon and of course BBQ sauce. The time before that, I had another BBQ chicken option and the only difference from that one, was that it swapped the pineapples for red onions. Ok, you get it, I like the BBQ chicken options. I also like the fact that you can choose your crust favor. Although it’s subtle, it’s a nice touch. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza, that’s how I know that the regular pizza is pathetic. She requested her crust to be the parmesan crust and it was barely on the crust, more like so around the outer rim of the pizza. It was so bad that she left her leftovers… I don’t know why though, not even the dogs would like that pizza. For both pizzas this time, after the tip and delivery fee, it was $ 35… way over priced, especially considering the coupon.

When I lived in Raleigh, NC, I took a little pizza place called Jet’s Pizza for granted. In most towns, there are a handful — if not two handfuls — of pizza places that you can grab a decent slice on any night of the week. The thing is, Jet’s fits far above the normal«appetite suppressant that everyone can agree upon.» I found myself awaiting the delivery car like a small child who waits for Santa the night before Christmas. I was so excited for the combo I had chosen — a large BLT Pizza and an order of cheese bread. The thing that makes Jet’s deep dish pizza perfect isn’t just their crust that has a perfect and audible crunch on the outside, and a soft, delectable interior that melts in your mouth. It isn’t even the fresh ingredients they use(on pizzas such as their BLT.) The one thing that makes Jet’s pizza perfect is that no matter which location you order from, you get more than what you expect — just like a kid on Christmas morning.

This pizza is awesome. Great taste and good value. And they deliver. Salads are awesome. Deep dish barbecue chicken is my favorite!

Rarely does a pizza place offer the kind of variety Jet’s does and actually do more than one or two items really well. This is an exception. My first encounter with Jet’s was, of all places, at a high school soccer game where it was being sold by the slice. I was immediately struck by the crust — springy and flavorful. The next time I ordered pizza at home, I decided to give Jet’s a try. I ordered a regular crust pizza and breadsticks. The breadsticks are made with that same springy, flavorful dough — this time with cheese, butter and just the right amount of garlic. So good that I find myself ordering them now with one of their huge, fresh Greek salads. Wonderful! Recently, I tried a thin crust veggie pizza. Again, so good! Fresh veggies and a delightful, crispy crust. I especially like being able to select from several different flavors of crust. It isn’t the cheap, takeout variety — it’s a great pizza/salad/breadstick/and more place with something on the menu for everyone.

The food is good, I’m a big fan of the Deep Dish Pizza and the JetsBoat. The slices all day claim is really«slices if you wanna wait 15 minutes». Kind of lame, but it means your slices are piping hot.

Always great pizza, but when it comes to their marketing and advertising they don’t follow through. I received a coupon for 20% off online orders. There is no promo code on the coupon or promo spot online when you order. I put in the special notes that I had a 20% off coupon. When I got to the store I was told that their online thing is a joke and doesn’t work. The guy at the store told me there was nothing he could do about it.

I am generally not a deep dish pizza fan, but Jets Detroit style deep dish is awesome! Their crust is chewy and crispy at the same time. The generous amounts of good quality toppings make this pie a contender for some of the best(chain) pizza in Lexington. My only complaint is that the crust tends to be a bit oily.

Great pizza… great food. Seriously good prices, and delicious. The food is not over spiced. It’s good… yummy. The prices are good. The selection is pretty varied, so if you have a group most everyone can find something on the menu that they will like a lot. It’s a family owned and run business(Yay). And the family is from the area. All of the Jet’s in town are owned by the same family, so if you are in another stores delivery zone — no problem. I don’t give 5stars for nothing. This place deserves it. I will say that they messed up making one of the Deli Boat’s, but on my next trip in they made it right by me. They even have salads. Smile. If you try it, you’ll like it.
