Always great chicken and sides! The price is right too. The mixed sweet tea and lemonade is a must have for your drink!!!

If you like chicken strips then Lees is the place for you. Sure plenty of places offer a decent flavored batter on their strips and Lees exceeds most… But the real difference is the size. JUMBO strips is what they call them and with reason. Seriously they make other strips such as KFCs look like tiny kids meal strips. While I can’t speak for all locations, I’ll add that the service at Richmond Rd has always been friendly and fast for me.

Going to try this restaurant today. Would definitely like to see how it compares to KFC and Indis. So far, I think the best chicken I have had was at Indis. We shall see! — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – All right. First, the location was surprising where it was. I wonder if it was just built there? I know I always had gone to the Hardees and Wendy’s in that area; however, I never remembered seeing this place. Anywho, when you drive-in, do not be confused! At first, I thought it was a walk-in restaurant, but there is a drive thru. I see this space that says«DONOTPARKHERE». Only thing is, the drive thru is on the other side of the space. Back story and thoughts– Usually when you approach a drive thru, you would think it would be next to the business. At this place though the drive thru is on the other side of this«DONOTPARKHERE» space. When I got my order of 12 chicken pieces for $ 11.99 deal; I was asked whether I wanted spicy or the Lees Famous flavor. For me, I have to try every option so I asked for half and half. When I got to the window, I asked the lady why exactly that«No Parking Space» was there and she had told me it was for the delivery truck. O_o Oh really. Anyway, I tasted both the flavors and they were both good. Seems like they have a lighter breaded version of chicken and there is actually meat, as compared to KFC, bones and ligaments. I will go ahead and say they are better than KFC, both price wise and taste wise. They look edible and after eating them, you feel light. With KFC, I think they put so much MSG and crap that you start falling asleep after eating them and for me, personally, I end up feeling a bit nauseated. Still, Indis, then Lees, then KFC; in that order. Oh yeah and the honey sauce(probably just honey) is a nice touch. Who would have thought to eat chicken with honey? It’s been done at Chinese food places; but hey, it works for crispy chicken too.
