Malibu Jack’s Family Fun Center

Kids love this place and adults do too because I sure did. There is plenty to choose from so no one should ever get bored. There is the race car track, in-​door golf, the motion-​X theatre, video and arcade games, basketball, air hockey, and more.

This place is great to bring the kids. They have a big variety of things to do from mini golf, laser tag and games. They also have a snack bar (although I haven’t had anything from it). This is especially great during the winter on cold days also in rainy days when the kids have been cooped up and need to get out of the house.
It also is great for adults, my wife and I went after dinner on a date night away from the kids went a little later and there were other couples out doing the same we had a blast on the go carts.

I’ve taken my son & friends here several time, especially since they added Laser Tag last year. This latest visit we hosted a Birthday party!
The Laser Tag & Go-​Karts is what sold my son. No where else in Lexington has Go-​Karts. The Putt-​Putt course may not be glowing (like Champ’s) but I think it’s better. The Arcade games are fun but I think you’ll find more at Gattitown if that’s your draw. The X-​Rider virual ride is okay but I think it’s not worth the price-​maybe kids find it more thrilling? The prize selections aren’t as good as Gattitown or Chuck-​E-​Cheese. It’s harder to get lots of points on their games. There needs to be more prizes in the 200 – 800 point range.
The Party rooms are comprised of one large room separated by cheaply constructed partitions. The decorations are beach themed and are provided with the party. They will not let you bring balloons in. When you see the ceilings you’ll understand why. The structure was originally a Tennis Club so very high ceilings with large «Big Ass Fans» (from a local business called Big Ass Fans) are present and I imagine they don’t want to deal with that potential mess, I wouldn’t. A party attendant is provided to help with serving/​cleaning/​organizing (remember to tip them). Extras are available to enhance the party and they have a list to provide when inquiring about reservations. The kids really enjoyed the Dippin’Dots Ice Cream option. Okay, it was my favorite add-​on too ;) There was a hiccup during our Party with a particular activity we selected but the staff bent over backwards to make us happy. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and that was really appreciated!
Overall, I would say it’s a great place for families to spend a rainy-​day or have a Birthday party. We’ll be back, with friends, no doubt.

As a 22 year old, I really enjoyed this place ! The prices are not outrageous and even cheaper than most tourist places. They have done a great job at fitting a lot of activities into a small space without it seeming cramped. There were two birthday parties going on when I went along with other families but I never felt over crowded. Cody helped us out a lot when it came to what fun stuff to do for our age. I can’t wait to return !

Let me just say… WOW. What an awesome place to go on a date on Friday night or take the whole family out! Great environment and awesome staff.

Very cool place, we luckily came when they where not busy and was able to walk around without a crowd. We played mini golf and a few games. Not over priced at all compared to other places. Definitely a great place to to take the family.

I loved the beach theme of the putt putt golf course. Made me feel like I was on vacation…

This was a surprisingly fun place! One would think it’s a bar by the name of it. It’s comparable to SpeedZone in West Covina, CA.
My friends and I did mini golf first & that was super fun because one of the holes featured water in it. We then did go karts and that was okay. I say ‘okay’ because I’ve gone faster at MB2 Raceway. The games/​arcades were cool only because no one was hogging the basketball machine except me :) There is a rollercoaster simulator and a half-​court shot that people frequented. And I was impressed that there was a dippin’ dots station!
We did the $ 100 package & receive $ 30 bonus because there were 6 of us. The staff was very friendly and accommodating considering we all paid separately. We all thoroughly enjoyed this place & I hope to visit & do the laser tag when I get the chance to visit Lexington again.

We went here for my husband’s birthday to escape that fact that we’re in our 30s and not really wanting to grow up yet. The mini golf was fun! This isn’t a place that I’d like to go to all of the time, but it was the perfect break from the winter blues. The place is bright and pretty loud, but the atmosphere is fun. We didn’t play around on the go-​karts, but we did enjoy some of the arcade games.
When you win «tickets» on games, the «tickets» go on your re-​loadable swipe card. Call me old school, but I totally miss that rush of tons of tickets coming out of a machine! Yeah, I know it’s probably more cost effective and eco-​friendly, but gosh, I’m thankful to have experience the lost art of arcade tickets. Ha ha!
Anyway, everyone seemed to be having a good time there, and I’m happy that Lexington has a place like this to go and play. The mini golf certainly wasn’t the most awesome course I’ve ever played, but I had fun!

Pretty good deal for a fun outing. Used Unilocal check in coupon to get kini golf for 2 people for $ 10. Go carts seem fun, but they don’t look too fast. facility. Looks like a pretty new place. Lots of families.

A great place to let kids (and adults) burn off some energy. My fam just rode the go karts, and they loved them. For $ 7, you get five rounds of racing around a good sized course. It makes more sense to buy a package for $ 35 if you have 3 kids to cover, like I did. Be sure you check-​in on Unilocal.At the time I did, there was a $ 2 offer. Nice bonus. Lots of fun. Added bonus that they have early hours during a school vacation, so we went when it opened and had the course largely to ourselves. This might be added to the regular fun rotation, as the kids can’t stop talking about it. Plus, they’re adding a laser tag part to the facility… even more fun to be had, I reckon.

Very clean and relatively inexpensive, the go carts are electric, they start out slow but they do get faster and a reasonable fun. miniature golf is a mild course to work through, and the layout and lighting is nice throughout the atmosphere, I was shocked that they did not have any pinball games in the arcade portion. I hope they will one day get the new wizard of oz pinball by Jersey Jack, as that is nice for the whole family and very modern pinball experience. I personally did not get to try their food this trip.

A pretty good place to bring your family.
I found out about this place searching the net for a miniature golf place to take my family to.
Lexington has a distinct shortage of good miniature golf places. I only knew of one other place, and it has a very over-​the-​top religious theme and was worn out and dated-​looking 15 years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find a new mini golf place had opened up, and apparently it also had a go kart track and arcade.
So, what is it like? It’s got an 18 hole mini golf course, the course has kind of a beach/​tropical theme. No windmills, castles or particularly silly or elaborate holes (aside from one where you have to putt over a water hazard. It’s fun, and either very challenging or it’s harder than I remember since I haven’t played mini golf since the 1990’s.
The go karts are good. They are electric, and they have a very twisty, windy course. There is a little «turbo boost» button on the steering wheel where twice per race you can go a little faster. In practice this was only really usable on the straightaway.
The arcade was meh, to be honest. It had a couple of gun-​style arcade games, skee ball and arcade basketball, and an air hockey table, but most of the arcade games were basically gambling for tickets where you randomly would win tickets with a lot of flashing lights. My wife and me played a few games of skee ball and air hockey though and enjoyed ourselves. I would have preferred a few more actual arcade video games.

This place was great! We first had lunch at the café and it was reasonably priced with good drink options for the kids that weren’t filled with sugar. Family of four eating for less than $ 15. The staff was very friendly, patient, and helpful. The place was very clean and all of the games were in good working order. The kids loved the go-​carts the best. We rode with them and the ride was very long and very fun, worth every penny. Overall we spent about 3 hours there for around $ 60 which I think was well spent. We will definitely go back!

A great family business that my family enjoyed! The owner, Steve, was fabulous to work with and we had an amazing work party at their facility. Will definitely be going back with my kids. I can see many birthdays happening there this year!

My son was invited to a birthday party at MJ’s. The staff was friendly and my friend was actually relaxed and able to chat with us since the staff was handling everything.
My son, who is 7 wouldn’t have normally been able to drive the go-​karts under the standard rules, but since he was in a party full of 7, 8 and 9 year olds he was allowed to drive his own. He had a blast. Has talked nonstop about MJs and wants to have his party there.
I enjoyed the arcade and played a few before I headed out to shop.
Very pleased to have something different here in Lexington.

Awesome mini golf course and great go karts. I went with my wife and we had a wonderful time. They have pineapple dole whips! Normally those are only at Disney World or Hawaii.
