Mattress Overstock

If I could leave less than one star, I would!
I visited the Tiverton location on 4÷26÷14 in search of a queen bed that I saw on their website. I found the exact same bed on Lexington Overstock Warehouse’s website (which actually listed a price) so I wanted to compare.
When I walked in, the manager asked if I was looking for anything specific so I told him the manufacturer, style and size I wanted. I was told that it wasn’t in stock but he could order it and then directed me to other pillow top mattresses. I asked what the price was on the one I inquired about and he told me $ 478. I said, «oh wow, you all are a bit more expensive than Lexington Overstock. They have the same bed for $ 268.» He tells me, well I can order it at that price but have you actually been to their store? I told him yes and that they have it in stock. He says to me, «do you really think you’re going to find a quality mattress there for cheaper than $ 478,» in a sarcastic tone. To which I replied, «I don’t think price is always indicative of quality, so yes.» This guy says, «well, sounds like you found a deal,» again very sarcastically. I said, «looks that way and I can take my business to a place where there aren’t any sarcastic assholes working.» He walked away and I left the store just as I came into it, void of any customers.
Do not shop here. It’s crappy customer service and way overpriced for an «overstock» company.

Don’t know how this company is still in business. At end of February, purchased a mattress and frame at Nicholasville Rd. store. We were told bed & frame would be delivered within ‘next few days, max 1week’. Paid in-​full; check cleared my account 3 days later. Over 4 weeks later, still no mattress or frame! Get different excuse every time we call, including ‘That model is out of stock’. Really? Your store name is Mattress OVERSTOCK!!! X (

Sorry this update is pitifully late. what I received was a seriously chemicallytreated mattress that contaminated my apartment with fumesfor a few days until Billy got it out of here. we finally did get refunded and ran tosleep outfitters where I paid morefor a mattressthat meets myhypoallergenic requirements as I thought the other would. igavetwostarsinsteadof1 as wefinally did get resolution within 1−2weeks as i rememberandnotmonths.

This is also located on Tiverton Way. Billy the manager/​owner was very helpful and nice INITIALLY which is why I had chose their store vs. the Brookstone and Sleep outfitters. I had compared their return policies. We were initially looking at a Tempurpedic bed and those prices are the same anywhere. Billy did not have them in store but said he could order one if that is what we wanted, but he proceeded to tell us of the iComfort which was a great comparison and was getting rave reviews.
Can you say bait and switch… we are not happy with our mattress purchase and he was misleading on the information he provided when we purchased it. Now any of you who know me, know that I know the right questions to ask when it comes to your return policy. There is NO WAY IN HELL I would have purchased a mattress from you if you would have told me «when you purchase, you can return it for something else, and if it cost more, you pay the difference, but if it cost less, then you are ass out! Then he recommended a cheaper mattress for me today when I went it. He then proceeded to show me a more expensive one than his initial replacement recommendation when I told him I should not have to be ass out for the difference, and told me to get out when I told him he mislead me when we made the purchase. When I asked him for the number to Corporate Offices he said there is not one and that he’s a small business owner and there is no one I can complain to basically. Do no shop at Mattress Overstock.
I initially reached out to Billy in Febuary about not being happy about the bed, and he became frustrated when I questioned him on his tactics. We are still within our 120 day satisfaction gurantee period, and we sleep in the guest bedroom on another bed I purchased and realized this is ridiculous, Something must be done. BEWARE of wolves in sheeps clothing! That is Billy…
