I have recent experience with Mr. Appliance of Lexington, and wonder if this is even a real business at this point. Initially they were the only place that would come after 5 without charging hundreds extra. I paid the initial service call, $ 89, which resulted in one appliance«not worth fixing» and another the tech seemed reluctant to fix. I had to encourage him to look into parts for a relatively basic repair. He called and left a message the next day with a very high price for the parts and simple job needed. I could«take the $ 89 off the amount» though. I have now called back three times to discuss it and possibly schedule another visit just to get it fixed. Only one of those calls was answered(unreturned messages were left) and the person answering had a DIFFERENT tech call back, though I had clearly told her who I had dealt with. That gentleman said he would have to come look at the appliance to see if it could be repaired. I would have sworn that had already been done. He couldn’t recall being at my house. When I finally got him to understand he had not been, and I did not know why the original tech had not been asked to call, as I was told, he said he would talk to the office and someone would get back to me. 2 days later I am looking for a different repair company and will just chalk the $ 89 up to learning. I am sharing that learning with you now.
