Mr Sparkle Southland

I’ve been using Mr. Sparkle for years. Always manage to get in and out quickly and they do a great job. Recently bought two groupons for their Protect Car Wash packages — full inside vacuum and upholstery clean, plus wash and wax. They did a great job on a filthy car!

This is my favorite Lexington car wash. I will literally drive out of my way to make it out to this location. It’s the only place that gets my car completely clean. I don’t know if it’s because my car is so low to the ground, but all of the other washes leave my car with many uncleared spots… not here though.
It’s located next to the bowling alley on Southland Drive. It’s sort of hidden though. You have to turn at Columbia Express, and you will see it.
Usually when the weather is nice you have to wait in a long line. There are separate lanes, one for the express wash which is currently $ 6.00, and the other two lanes are for more detailed washes, vacs and detail options. If you choose one of the more detailed options, you can go inside to wait and pay. Inside, they have air fresheners and a few other car accessories to purchase. I usually go with the express wash that includes the air dry too. At the end, they’ll dry the windows and that’s where you’ll find the tip box. These people work hard. But I’ve had a few weird experiences with the employees… which is the only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars.
