Love the Frozen Yogurt craze. I am so glad it finally happened. Orange Leaf is a locally owned business that is Kentucky Proud and one of the fore front of the Fro Yo Movement. I thank them for that. You fill your own little cup with frozen yogurt of your choice and then top it with a plethora of toppings. I am a gummy bear junkie.SHHHHHH. This specific one has a to go container with a lit for an extra $ 1 to purchase. They also have a plastic cup to purchase for a $ 1 that will donate the $ 1 to a local charity. They have many common flavors that you would expect at a fro yo shop, this is the only thing I wish they would work on. I like the odd flavors but I can’t complain too much. They keep me coming.

Just another yogurt place in town. It’s like red mango but less toppings and they only have yogurt unlike red mango. The flavors were pretty boring here too. I just wasn’t pleased with my first time here.

I think this is the only Orange Leaf Lexington location that I’ve yet to review. I love the local feel to each location and the fact that they use some Kentucky Proud products. The OL closest to my house is closed for the winter, so lately I’ve found myself here more than usual. This location is located at the corner of a strip mall, in the Hamburg area, close to Cheddars and Ramsey’s. Right now, they’re offering the frozen yogurt for a flat rate, so you can fill your cup up with as much as you can and not have to wonder how many ounces it’ll weigh in at. Some of the flavors rotate according to the season, and some of the flavors are staple flavors that you’ll find at each OL location. My favorite is the birthday cake flavor. Although I like mine plain, they do have a topping bar that includes fruit, candies, syrups and such. The employees are always friendly each time that I’ve been here. If you like yogurt, this is your place.

The yogurt is good. Pricey but good. They need at least two options in sugar free. But what put this in the tank for me is the flys. There were tons of flys all over the toppings bar. I didn’t get anything off of this because of the flys. It was gross. When I mentioned this to the manager as I was checking out he said, «What would you suggest?». My reply, «Not my bar and I’m not charging $ 8 a lb for yogurt. Cleanliness is a reasonable expectation for the price I am paying». I was totally put off by his concern and attempts to correct the problem. The health department needs to go in and inspect.

Yummy! I got introduced to this place just recently and I really liked it! It seemed a bit pricey, and the number of different flavors wasn’t as great as other places like it. They did have flavors that other places haven’t even dreamt of like green tea, mango pomegranate, lychee, pistachio, and red velvet. Some of them were great, some not so much. Just try them before you decide! Like I said, it’s a bit pricey. I got a regular sized cup with minimal toppings and I still paid over $ 5. I could have had a whole gallon of ice cream for that. They charge by weight so it’s up to you how crazy your bill gets.
