This place is so good! I have had a lot of delicious phở in Atlanta and have found this place to be just as good, if not better! The broth is good on its own, but of course better when I mix up everything! Delicious!

We decided to look for a new Vietnamese Phở restaurant for a cold evening and found this place online. We took the drive down, purely as a food road trip, and we were not disappointed. Once we got there, we ordered the Grilled Pork Spring Rolls for appetizers, the Large Deluxe Phở Noodle Soup and the Crispy Stir Fried Noodles for our entrees, and 2 Taro Smoothies with Boba(tapioca balls). The waiter(who was also the cook!) was super friendly, and we didn’t even have to wait that long for the food to come out. The drinks came out first, and they were delicious! It was some of the best taro bubble tea that I’ve had in Kentucky, and it was fresh with soft boba. Next were the spring rolls, and they were really good as well with peanut dipping sauce. The Phở bowl was delicious with a ton of meat in every bite; it tasted like homemade Phở! The stir fry had a lot of chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, and vegetables, all placed on top of the crispy, crunchy noodles; it was flavorful with all different kinds of textures in your mouth! Overall, everything was great, service was awesome, and we would definitely come back and recommend it to others to try! :D

I got the steak Phở here and I would like to give 4.5 stars for this place since their broth was so good. They even had the fresh red chili which you need to ask for. The meat balls in the Phở soup were one of the best I have ever had so far. My boyfriend had the Bun Bo Hue which was ok. We’d give 3⁄5 for this soup

Update: came here 12÷6÷15 The restaurant was essentially closed but the owner knew my friend and made an exception for our group of 7, and let us come in and order. He cooked everything so quickly and took such great care of us. Everyone was satisfied with their food. I ordered the seafood combination soup with a side of white rice. Very very good especially on such a cold night. Came here to check out some Phō restaurants and ordered number P13 which includes beef and rice noodles. The soup came out fresh and hot and was very delicious. My friend ordered Non Bön soup which was an Asian version of chicken noodle soup with seafood and egg noodles. Both soups were tasty and very filling. I even ordered the mango bubble tea and that was tasty, would highly recommend to order the soup and the drink ! You won’t be disappointed. Came here around 4pm on Wednesday and it wasn’t busy at all, so plenty of seating and the ambience is very quiet except for the soft music in the background. Overall, this is a great place to have some great quality phō.

I really enjoy this place, they have phở, everything Vietnamese except for banh mi, which is weird. But you can get them for $ 3.99 next door at the Asian market. The phở soup is light, portion is ok, price is medium. It’s def a must if you are in the area and wanting some Vietnamese food.

Fresh ingredients, ginger in everything! This is the perfect time of year to go here — right before flu season! These ingredients ward The bad and build up your immune system !! That’s just the added Benefit for eating here — the FOOD is amazing on SO many levels, and so fresh and likely the healthiest restaurant in Lexington, KY! I don’t think to come here enough because I’m rarely in the Woodhill area — out of site– out of mind!

It was cold and damp; a good night for Phở, and we decided to try Phở Saigon. To our surprise, and delight, Ten, our favorite Lexington sushi chef(from Osaka before it was sold) met us at the door to seat us. Phở Saigon offers a great choice of rolls, salads, Phở Bo(beef noodle soup), other rice egg-noodle soups, Bho Kho(beef stew), and other Vietnamese specialties. I don’t remember seeing anything on the menu that was more than $ 11. Sari ordered Phở Tai(beef noodle soup with eye-round), I had Bun Bo Saigon(Saigon style spicy beef stew), and we shared Cha Gio(deep fried Vietnamese egg rolls) for a starter. The food was tasty, and fresh. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is unpretentious. There’s plenty of seating and it’s in the Woodhill shopping center so there’s plenty of parking. This is south /central style Vietnamese Phở. We enjoyed it, and we’ll be regulars, especially with the cooler weather back in force.

I’m not sure if it’s because I’m not familiar with the beef stew noodles but honestly it was pretty bad. Even though we came close to closing time, I don’t think that’s an excuse for such poor service. They didn’t give us our water until we asked after the food arrived and the bean spouts were not fresh. The meat in the hue spicy stew with rice vermicelli had a very strong pig smell which made it hard to eat. There was not much noodles in the bowl even though it was a large. The beef stew with rice noodles had half cooked carrot chunks which was hard to eat too. Overall poor service and poor quality of food.

Being a Portland, OR transplant where there are Phở places everywhere, I was excited to find this place. Walking in you would find yourself wondering if the food is any good because there is rarely ever more than 2 tables occupied. I’m gonna step out on a limb here and say it must be because people around here have no idea what Vietnamese food is or how delicious it is. There are 2 Phở places I have found since moving to Lexington. This one by far is the better of the 2. The service is great and the food is better. It’s a quiet atmosphere and extremely clean!

Delicious! Quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Lexington. They have the best Phở I’ve ever tasted. Will be back again.

I had jonsein’ for some Phở for a while, but was hesitant to visit Phở BC again. I heard about Phở Saigon from Unilocal and decided to give it a shot this week. It was a little difficult to find, but it was tucked just back behind Dawson Chiropractic in Woodhill Shopping Center on New Circle Road. Upon walking in, I immediately noticed the cleanliness. Everything appeared to be in good shape and looked new. The seating area was spacious, although the walls were a little sparse. There were some TVs playing on mute and no music playing. But I wasn’t here for the aesthetics. I orders the beef phở with seafood(p-19) and Coca-Cola and awaited my entrée. They brought out a small boat-shaped ramekin filled with sprouts, cilantro, jalapeños, and a lime wedge to add to my phở as needed. There were also a variety of sauces available at the table(sriracha, sambal, fish sauce, soy sauce, etc) to use as needed as well. My entrée came out pretty quickly. I’ll concur with the other reviews… The broth here is very sweet, with a hint of fennel or anise, making a very faint flavor of licorice(but not in an unpleasant way… I hate actual licorice). Depending on the person, this flavor could either be sickeningly sweet or intoxicating. To me, it was the latter. I added some sambal for heat and just dug right in. While I wouldn’t say the amount of seafood I got was overwhelming, it was adequate. To say that I enjoyed this meal would be an understatement. I just wish I had been able to visit when it was still wintertime… Nothing better on a nasty day than a bowl of hot soup. Walking on the sidewalk and 85°… That’s an entirely different story.

Must try. I have work on this side of town for 6 plus years and never knew it was even here or would even have tried if I did until a friend invited me. I trusted his reviews fully and meet him. I was not let down. You can see my pics I posted to see what I had. Also a side note, family ran. He is cooking same food he give his family to your family. Go try it Lex!

Very friendly, very clean with a spacious dining area. Had the chicken spring rolls which were very fresh and excellent tasting. Soups all come with a large side helping of sprouts, cilantro and other vegetables. Portion size is very generous.

The family and I stopped there for dinner one night while traveling through town. Being Asian from CA, we expect our Asian food AUTHENTIC, so perhaps the review is a bit tougher on the restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful. They greeted us with a smile and was accommodating when we asked for something off the menu. It was a good overall experience. We ordered: Phở Dai Biet(Special beef phở) Bun Bo Kho(beef stew with bun noodles) Bun Bo Hue(Hue style bun noodles) Che Ba Mao(three colored ice) Phở(4 stars) The broth was a little bit sweeter than we’re used to, but overall the noodles and veggies were great. Perhaps it was b/c we ordered a kid bowl so it didn’t come with all the bells and whistles. We missed having more green onions, onions and basil in the broth. Didn’t want to make a fuss or I’m sure the staff would’ve brought us some Bun Bo Kho(2 stars) I was a bit disappointed in this dish. The meat was a little tough and the broth wasn’t flavorful enough. I expected the broth to be bursting with flavors from tomatoes, carrots and spices, but it was kinda bland. The noodles were fine, but the carrots and meat were disappointing. Def wouldn’t order this again. Bun Bo Hue(4 stars) The broth was good and the noodles were great. It’s my husband’s favorite noodles to have, and we order it everywhere. The broth tasted a little generic, like it came from a paste or packet, but it tasted good nonetheless. The noodles were good and went well with the broth. The meat was a little tough, just like the bo kho. It wasn’t the best we’ve had, but it was above average. Che Ba Mao(3 stars) The ice was weird. It was a little salty. I’ve had this dessert since I was little and don’t remember ever having it salty. The salt didn’t enhance the flavor for me, and the beans were a little watery for my taste. I probably wouldn’t order this dish again as it was a bit disappointing.

Wow the Phở soup was amazing! So many things on the menu I wanted to try. I will for sure be back. Also another great plus is they serve alcohol which BC Phở does not.

This place is a newer phở restaurant in lexington and of course I had to try it out. Went here one day for lunch with a buddy. They phở was phokin great(lol play on words). The slow cooking and deep flavor of the phở is so spot on. You can taste the lightness of the broth and each little delicate ingredient thay is added. This is a skill set and a gift. This is the perfect place to go for a cheaper meal that warms your soul. The resturant itselt is clean and not overly decorated. The staff are extremely helpful and assist in helping you decide what you might be in tge mood for. Remember to come hungry because the portion size is huge. I will be back and after you try it I am sure you will too.

This is my favorite Phở place in Lexington. Everything is SO flavorful and of good quality. I really enjoyed the spicy beef phở with carrots. I’ve also tried the hot pot, excellent. The beef salad is excellent. I can’t wait to try more of the menu items here. I’ve always had great and friendly service as well. They help suggest items that you will like if you aren’t familiar with their menu. Definitely recommend!

New Vietnamese restaurant in Lexington. I tried it with my coworker yesterday. It’s clean and neat inside. The guy waiter was super nice while the lady, maybe manager, wasn’t the friendliest. You could tell they’re new and still learning how to run a restaurant, but I’m sure they’ll get there eventually. The food was pretty good! We got the spring roll and seaweed salad as appetizers and phở with meatballs & steak, and seafood & beef. Smalls are around $ 8, large $ 9 and x-Large are $ 11. They messed up the seafood & beef order twice, but understood what we wanted eventually, but it was $ 2 extra. Oh and they put cut up cilantro in their phở, which I wasn’t used to. They also don’t accept American Express credit cards. Overall, it’s a small and clean place, better than Pete’s Wok.

This Chef is like Super Man of Phở! The Phở broth is so Rich and full of Flavors!!! WoW! I was astonished by the large chunks of Tendon in my dish. Dreamy juicy gelatinous tender Tendon! Shew I get worked up just thinking about the goodness of this hot dish of noodles!!! This Simply IS the Best! Phở in Lexington… No Doubt !

Finally an authentic Vietnamese resto in Lexington. Brand new location. Very flavorful phở broth. Huge menu with many choices. Tried the spicy beef noodle stew and the hot pot rice. Both were delicious. Restaurant space is clean and spacious. Prices were very affordable. Two Spring roll dishes, two entrees and a coffee for under 30 $. A must try! I can’t wait to go back and try some more dishes.
