I recently had to begrudgingly change dentist because my insurance changed. I located this place through my insurance provider list. Now, I normally NEVER write reviews, but I am going to write this one because I want to save others from going through this. I went in this morning and saw Dr Patel.(mind you my last dental visit was 6 months ago and I always keep up with them). She told me that I had 8 cavities. EIGHT! When I told her that can’t be, I have not had one in over 15 years she began to question what I was eating and said that… and I quote«it must be all the fruit you eat as it has as much sugar as a candy bar». I started to feel that something was not right. There was no way 8 cavities could form in 6 months. I also informed her that I was hesitant to do anything because I suffer from a medical condition that makes any type of dental work dangerous. She went on to tell me that I needed to get them done and that she would make up a «treatment» plan. As soon as I left the office I called my previous dentist who told me to have the x-rays sent to them right away and that they could see me that same night… for free. I went in… and left the office not needing ANYTHINGDONE. My teeth are fine, I didn’t have 8 cavities. My teeth are in great shape, nothing had changed. My dentist was disgusted that dentist out there act like car salesmen, even with your health. My advice… avoid this place like the plaque. Even though my other dentist is not fully covered by my particular insurance, I am paying extra because it is totally worth it. I see the great, HONEST dentist at Failla and Derancesco Family Dentistry in Waltham. The staff is amazing and the dentist are truthful, caring and the best.

I had a crown that popped out during Thanksgiving(great, right?) and scrambled to find someone the next day that was open and could cement it back into place. Not only did Dr. Davis seal it properly, she also fitted the crown better than it was setted in the first place. Totally recommend her!

No one likes the dentist, right? That’s always been my stance atleast, but this place makes it hard to keep the hate. From the moment you walk in, they seem happy to see you. And not in a I-can’t-wait-to-drill-your-face-and-bill-insurance way but really happy to see that you’re in again and taking care of yourself. On top of that, I’ve always had very pleasant experiences with all the work I’ve had done, from the various types of cleanings to the more serious dental work. Finally, for the first time in years, I don’t feel ill about going to the dentist and am actually willing to go without having my arm twisted. Note: its a bit poorly marked, so if you’re going in for the first time, go in the door in the front of the building and then through the door immediately to the right in the lobby.
