I have lived in this complex for three years now. The office hours can be frustrating if you work an 8 – 5 job good luck trying to make it to drop your rent off because they are always already gone and closed on Sunday’s. They’ve had to take away other options for paying or leaving rent so leaves it an inconvenience to catch someone in office. Every time I call no one answers I have to call multiple times through out the day. I recently called stuck at work worried about a package that was left and just asked if someone could swing by and put it inside my apartment for me, no one did and no one called back to let me know. They leave notes saying on certain days someone is inspecting something inside my apartment a couple times a year but before raising my rent each year no one comes to inspect the mold in my shower or my bathroom ceiling cracking. I have liked living here but over the years it has gotten frustrating to now pay $ 740 a month and can’t even get a favor every now and then like something as simple as picking up a package for me.

My husbands 2015 Truck was towed over night. From where we were told(by office staff) was the visitors parking area(we have 4 vehicles) but are only allowed 3 parking stickers. My husband travels from our home in Maryland back and forth to Lexington… since this is a temporary living situation for my children and myself(while kids attend school). When we contacted the towing company we were told that the truck was illegally parked which I disagreed with because we were told by both Joan and Tatum(office staff) that visitors parking was next to the tennis court. The tennis court has 2 sides but today management says only 1 side of the tennis court is for visitors parking. He was parked on the«other» side. There are 3 cars(1 broke down, 2 with expired tags and NO parking permit) also 1 neighbor who insist on parking in the handicapped spots even though his«work van» does not have a handicapped placard/tag — that I’ve personally complained about sitting in the lot for months that have not been towed. The complex has contracted with Bluegrass towing who seem to leave the POS vehicles but go after the newer vehicles(possibly d/t to the owners ability to pay tow fee). Vehicles have been stickered with notices from the towing company(of intent to tow)…owners have ripped stickers off vehicles and vehicles are still sitting in same parking spot. Management states«we have no control over towing.» How can you have a complex where management has NO control over who parks what/where or whose vehicles are towed? Parking situation is one of many issues such as oil stained parking spots from residents working on cars(Courtesy Officer) or cars leaking oil. Poop station(s) routinely over flow with bags of poop in and around the area d/t lack or property inspection. Dumpster/trash compactor overflows on a regular basis even though residents pay for trash removal. I’ve lived here for 8 months — recently found out that I pay several hundred dollars more monthly than some of my neighbors in the same building. Some units have been upgraded some haven’t(mine has not been) yet I pay the same rent rates… as people living in upgraded units. Windows and doors are very drafty/thin(I can hear everything that goes on in the parking lot, my neighbors coming in/out, people going up/down the stairs, Richmond Road traffic and neighbors below me bathroom use). The office staff are very unaware and have NO idea what goes on in the apartment complex since they don’t do regular walk through/inspections of the property and rely on residents complaints to correct problems(when/if they are reported). Complex is nice BUT upscale it is not. Save your money and pay less for the same thing somewhere else.

STAYAWAYIFYOUAREBLACKOR A MIXED. RACECOUPLE. MY family and I have been REPEATLY harrased by these people… Threaten to be arrested had our automobile’s towed. Im sure there are many better places in Lexington that don’t mind a Ebony/Ivory couple. BEAWARE: This place has NOSECURITY cameras for parking lots NOSECURITYGATES. Several cars have been broken into as of lately, INCLUDING the on site Lexington police officers nephew. I was told by the officer to QUOTE! «remove all item from my automobile and leave my doors unlocked at least they wont break your window» He Said this is a BAD neighborhood. Management allows some residents here to work on there automobile while others are not allowed to the same opertunity. One resident was allowed to change oil, new brakes, new CV joints. Car was on jack stand for 3 days. the lease CLEARLYSTATES this is not ALLOWED

I have to say the new management is making big positive changes. Going to be a really nice place to live.
