I’m a huge fan of horror, sci-​fi, fantasy, and paranormal so this convention is right up my alley. It’s a three-​day event that happens once a year. Each year, there is a new line up of celebrities and paranormal personalities that sign on to appear. You can usually get your photo taken with them, autographs, and sometimes buy some unique merchandise from them as well. In addition, there are tons of vendors on the floor. Some sell goods, some offer psychic readings, some sell artwork, and some just give away free stuff. One of the sweetest things about this con (short for convention) is that people will cosplay (or dress up and act like their favorite horror characters). Aside from everything happening on the event floor, there are tons of workshops, seminars and other panels going on throughout the entire con. It’s a crazy fun experience that I would recommend you going to check out. If you don’t want to commit to the three-​day event, my suggestion would be to go on Saturday. You’ll have access to the most events, celeb photo ops, and still have a good chance to score some great merchandise.
