Tire Discounters

As soon as I walked into the Tire Discounters on Winchester Rd I was greeted within 5 seconds from the man behind the counter, James. I have to honestly say that James took great care of me, gave me friendly advice and actually seemed to care about the service he provided. I have never been taken care of so well at any business establishment ever, James was beyond friendly and courteous. Because of James, I will now be a tire Discounters customer for life. He is defiantly an asset to his company, stop in and ask for James and he will take care of you right the first time. James thank you for your kindness and professionalism. You are an asset to your company !

The staff is amazing. The free coffee is nice as well in the waiting area, which I didn’t have to spend too much time there which is great. Eddie who I always deal with really focuses on customer satisfaction and ensuring the tire purchasing process is a pleasant experience.
I went to Costco before to price tires and he told me all about the extra stuff they do. When getting tires there is no thought put into it other than coming out to the Winchester Road Tire Discounters. If you are a Veteran you’ll get a discount, too.
They also provide other services for your car and/​or truck such as oil changes, alignments, balancing of tires, wind shield wiper blades, and some pretty awesome looking rims.

I had my 1998 Toyota Camry worked on there last January. The repair technician put the wrong set of brake pads, rotors, and calipers on the car. My car is a V6 and the technician put on a set of 4 cylinder pads, rotors, and calipers. Needless to say, I now have to have the entire set replaced: brake pads, rotors, and calipers. Do not go here for big jobs. They can change your oil and replace tires, but do not use them for anything else.

I had a set of dry rotted Michelin tires. I contacted Michelin and they said I was to take my car to Tire Discounters and let them inspect the tires. I reviewed over 400 dollar discount on a new set of Michelin tires. The person that worked with me at Tire Discounters was James Ferguson. James took a few days to contact the Tire Discounters home office and then Michelin and finally me. Thank you James Ferguson. I appreciate your help. Bobby Lexington, Ky

Brought in my car to replace brakes and rotors; after examining it, Tire Discounters called and quoted a $ 3400 price-​tag. This for a 2002 Chevy Cavalier (Kelley Blue Book Value of about $ 2000 in good condition). I suggested I take it somewhere else, the guy said «I’m not even sure if we can get it back together.» He offered to pay me $ 100 to scrap the car (keep in mind, car has perfectly working engine, battery, etc). When I called a local business from my hometown (about an hour and a half away) and mentioned what was wrong, they seemed to think I was being ripped off; long story short, I had the car towed an hour and a half away and looked at by someone else. Final price-​tag including having it towed? $ 538. The car’s brakes are fine. Tire Discounters attempted to charge nearly $ 3000 more than that, and then insultingly offered $ 100 to take my perfectly working car. Needless to say, I won’t be returning.
