I think I went here every single day for a year at one point lol. Awesome concept — I really like the Peanut Paradise and the Triple Berry Oat… but the food is great too. Try the flatbread sandwiches, particularly the club. Always friendly staff, always clean, looking forward to coming again soon.

Small business. Great concept. Engaged ownership wanting to give back to the service oriented community. Picked a smoothie and enjoyed it freshly made. Be sure to highlight your preferences and what you are looking for in order to maximize your experience. Enjoyed a great snack and looking forward to the next visit.

As a disabled veteran, I enjoyed the military discount that the offered. One day this summer after my purchase, I was told that I had to be in uniform to receive the discount. I asked to see the policy regarding the discount and was refused. Above average product, rude service. I will not return. Semper Fi.

I can only vouch for their food. Their menu clearly notes vegan and vegetarian food items which is awesome. They also have Beyond Meat chik’n strips. I had a third of the hummus wrap today(no ranch) and a third of their spinach salad(no bacon, cheese, or dressing). The wrap was extremely good and peaches on the spinach salad was a different twist for me. Everything worked well together and I will definitely be ordering from here again.

The fine print: smoothies are made with sugar unless you request not. Your«superfood» smoothie is mostly ice, sugar, and a small amount of superfood for flavor. If you’re looking for healthy, these smoothies are not it. Otherwise, great place.

They are by far the best smoothies I’ve ever had. They offer a variety of Sweet, Healthy, and Savory. You can amp them up with a variety of add ins for your needs and likeness. They also offer a limited food menu.

Boyfriend and I came here for a quick lunch for something different. I had the totally turkey wrap with the Sunrise Sunset Smoothie and he had the steak flatbread with the Bahama Mama smoothie. Food and smoothies came out quickly even though they were busy. Tasty food and smoothies, I really liked that my wrap was toasted. We would definitely come back in the future.

Very quality smoothies, I had the acai berry blast and it hit the spot. I would recommend this place if you are a true smoothie lover like myself. I did not try the other items on the menu, just the suculent smoothies they offered. Quality smoothie establishment.

I have always wanted to try Tropical Smoothies Café and was happy to see that they opened a location in Lexington. I had not given much thought to other options besides smoothies being served and while watching TV yesterday, had seen a commercial for Tropical Smoothies Café promoting their tacos. I thought they must serve food as well and thought since this is a smoothie place. Not knowing what else they served, I went for dinner. I arrived and had place to myself(as it was Sunday evening — not sure if it gets busier during the week). There is ample seating in this store, and they do have an island in sort of the middle that can seat about 15 people. This may have been one of those times I wish there was somewhat of a wait so I would have been able to decide what to order, and decided on the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. A side of chips automatically(I think) comes with your meal. I was hoping to get a drink as well and realized after my order was taken the price did not include a drink. All in all, the order just came to under $ 10, but not sure if is was slightly expensive since I forgot to order my drink with my sandwich(they do combos where you can either order a soft drink or a smoothie). Also, not sure if it is this location only, but they do not have a free refill fountain(if you do order a meal in), they only serve bottled drinks. As I was waiting for my wrap, I had noticed(probably a grade school child) had written Tropical Smoothie Café a letter(nothing bad) that they had on their wall. One thing they mentioned was the portions was big and had to take some home(wish I listened)! I do not know if it was size or wrap, but the wrap was not totally what I expected(taste wise). Before my next visit, I’ll make sure to look at what other wraps that they might have. Might also need to try a smoothie — since that is what they are known for.

Update: I’m updating my review and reducing the rating due to the service I received today that I can only describe as rude. I visited this location with a friend for lunch. When we got to the counter, I was ready to order but my friend was still looking at the menu. The girl at the counter immediately said, «I’ll come back when you’re ready» and walked back to the kitchen area to chat with the other 2 girls. No hi, no greeting, just acted like we were inconveniencing her. Of course, we were ready within 20 seconds after that and had to wait for her to turn around to notice. The other 2 girls could see us at the counter but continued chatting. She eventually walked back and brusquely took our order. A different girl brought our food out. I told her we were still missing 2 drinks — one soda and one water. She looked highly confused and then asked if we meant smoothies or drinks. I repeated the drink order. She went back to the kitchen and sent the first girl that took our order to our table. She brought the soda and then informed me, very cattily, «You can get your own water at that little cart hidden in the corner over there.» Wow, ok. You didn’t think to point that out when I ordered? It isn’t hidden but it isn’t easy to spot either and this appears to be a new addition since they’ve always given me a cup of water at the counter before. Yes, this is a fast food place so I should almost expect half-crap service, but when your total meal is nearly $ 12, I tend to want a friendlier staff! I’m thinking the presence of a manager would help the staff remember the importance of being pleasant to your customers. Original Review: The hummus veggie wrap is my favorite wrap for lunch. Filled with hummus, Southwestern rice, black beans, salsa, corn and asparagus — it sounds like a weird combo, but somehow it all comes together. I’m still researching what goes into their smoothies(I have a hard time buying that it’s just the ingredients they list in the description of each) but for now I love the very berry cranberry and the island green, both without sugar or Splenda. The cranberry is a bit tart, but I prefer that over it being sickeningly sweet. This location seems to have more to-go orders than dine-ins, as it’s always pretty empty when I stop in. It isn’t the most charming décor, but it isn’t terrible. I think the smoothie aspect just lends itself to more to-go orders. If you’ve only gotten smoothies here, you are seriously missing out on the food. My friends get some of their other wraps and flatbreads and all have looked great. I’d give them 5 stars because the lunch is awesome, but the staff isn’t very friendly and I think the smoothies are a little pricey.(Still worth it though once in a while!)
