My husband came here after getting a really, really terrible hack job at another barber shop. Vince did an outstanding job fixing their mistakes. On top of it all he is a really nice guy. My husband will definitely be coming here now. Don’t waste your time with other barbers in town– just go to Vince.

Vincent’s is an old-school barber shop. I first met Vincent when he was still cutting hair on Southland Drive, and he immediately became my regular barber. Once upon a time, this barber shop belonged to the legendary«Razor Roy» Durbin. For years, having Razor Roy cut your hair was a rite of passage for young men in Lexington. When Roy retired, Vincent bought the shop, and he has done a great job maintaining it, while at the same time making it his own. The atmosphere is just like a barber shop. Newspapers and sports magazines are available to read while you’re waiting. Sports is usually the main topic of conversation at Vincent’s, and if you’re a fan of basketball, football, or baseball, you’ll fit right in. I’ve never heard hockey being discussed, though. Also, if you’re looking for tickets to UK football or basketball games, there are times when Vincent might be able to point you in the right direction. As far as the haircut itself, Vincent knows what he’s doing. He became my regular barber after I moved to this side of town and visited the Southland Barber Shop. When I got home, my wife told me she thought it was the best haircut I ever had. And after a visit or two, Vincent will remember you, and he’ll know exactly what you want. When he moved from Southland to Clays Mill, I didn’t hesitate to follow him. There are other good barbers in town, to be sure. But as long as Vincent is cutting hair, I will not go anywhere else.

We brought our son here for a haircut today, and they did a fantastic job! Honestly it is probably the best haircut he has ever had. The barber paid close attention to detail, and was very friendly. He said he had been cutting hair since 1980, and the experience was obvious. The cut was $ 13, which I thought was a good deal. We will be regulars here from now on!
