Aptly named«Wild Cat» seeing that it is filled with UK undergrads! We stopped in Wild Cat for a drink on Friday while at the Pavillion– out for a friend’s birthday, what better way to celebrate than with karaōke?!(offered Fridays, Saturdays they use the karaōke area for beer pong) The bar area is usually very crowded, and you almost have to «wedge» your way in(not fun for those with personal space issues). The bathroom gets progressively worse as the night goes on, along with the length of the line. That being said, the prices aren’t bad at all, and they have a patio area in front on the Pavillion with tables– making it a fun place to grab a drink(or embarrass yourself by singing bad karaōke)

This place is a big college bar. It is pretty fun, they have beer pong and karaōke and 2 for 1 wells on Fridays. However, I’m giving them a 1 star because the employees are rude, assumptive and don’t know how to make a simple drink. The first drink I got was a vodka tonic… Pretty hard to mess up. Right? Well this girl put vanilla vodka in and it made the drink horrible! The second drink I got was a gin and tonic… I was thinking there is no way she can screw this up. Wrong! This girl went to make my drink and someone else’s at the same time and she put triple sec in my gin and tonic. I went to see if they could just swap it out and they told me they would if I wanted to pay the $ 4.50 for a new one. Other then the drink issue… The urinal was out of commission so everyone had to use the stall. So I went to the restroom and when I was done I got out of the stall quickly so someone else could go in(there was a long line). I finished buckling my pants in front of the sink where I was about to wash my hands and then I proceeded to get kicked out for«pissing in the sink». When I asked to talk to the manager he refused to get him. When I asked again he put his hand by his ear as if he couldn’t hear me. The people who work here are lame excuses for bouncers. I will not be returning. There are plenty of other fun bars to go to. Rose buds, stagger inn, two keys, tin roof, campus pub, McCarthy’s, saddle ridge, the other bar, the paddock, Molly brooks, Sky bar, Cheapside, trust lounge, gray goose bar, parlay social… You get the point.

this place was awesome! amazing drinks, awesome music, and the best bartenders I have ever met! Corey and Keith made our night amazing after Luke Bryan decided to be a raging buttwad and postpone his show. even my DD has an awesome time! TOLEDOISINTHEHOUSE!

One of the worst places in downtown lexington to drink. I’ve been served spoiled juice and vodka which almost made me sick. The bartenders almost always act like you’re bothering them and worst of all they steal money. I put down $ 20 for one drink and was given a five back. I didn’t notice this until I went to order another drink and checked my wallet. I was willing to accept that maybe I made an error somehow, even though I knew I made sure to only have a $ 20 because it was my budget for the night. While standing there trying to figure out why a vodka cran cost so much, another guy came up to the bartender complaining of the exact same thing. Bartender of course refused to give us our money back. For a ‘sports bar’ the TVs are horrible and so is the atmosphere. Avoid at all cost.

As a karaōke lover I just have to say that this place rocked. It was a Thursday night, and I think they only do it Thursday night but it was packed. From the website I was a bit concerned that it would be all country and cowboys, but there were a lot of college kids mixed with 30−40−50 year-old’s. Everyone was really nice and friendly and polite. A great introduction to Kentucky nightlife. The best part was the Milwaukee Best was only $ 1. You can’t beat that. Unfortunately, I drank so much I blacked out but otherwise I had an awesome time here.
