Atzimbas Mexican Restaurant

The food was NOT good. Nothing authentic about this place. Fake tortillas. Over cooked eggs and bacon. Orange looking ranchero sauce. And the worst part? Getting charged an extra $ 1.50 because we ordered breakfast after 11:00 am. Terrible service too! Would NOT recommend this place. I feel sorry for people who live in Liberty Hill who are being fooled into thinking this is mexican food.

Name changed to Elena’s but it’s still the same people and the best food!

I walk in the door and it looks like the whole staff (4) are eating at one of the tables near the front door. They point me to sit anywhere. The place is not too busy but there are a few customers. After 5 minutes I’m finally waited on. The food came out in about 5 minutes and I must say it was good. I has chicken enchiladas. The salsa is tasty but darn HOT, watch out. The food was quite tasty. I’d go back again.

Unexpected find in Liberty Hill! I had cheese enchiladas with mole sauce which is an odd combination I happen to like. The mole was very good and the beans and rice were some of the best I have had. Great service as others have noted.

Okay so I’ve been living here in liberty hill for 8 years and in that time I’ve been to all liberty hill has to offer and this place by far is the one I always come bsck to its a defiantly a mom and pop restaurant has a great homey feel to it. Now this is only a breakfast and lunch place so jardin corona is your only option if you want mexican for dinner. But anyway back to atzimbas every time I found myself there I got the Migas plate its a must with the horchata it comes with the migas of course beans hash browns and bacon for a very reasonable price. Weightstaff as always super nice the place is clean and can’t beat the prices

Very friendly service, good prices on daily lunch specials! Have the sour cream enchiladas and a Mexican coke :)
