Dr. West is an outstanding dentist. I have had dental work done, for crowns, by other dentist and it always hurts. I was nervous about her removing an old, silver filling and prepping the tooth for a crown. She numbed my gum/​tooth area and I did not feel anything! She was diligent about not leaving any debris or silver filling on the side of the tooth wall. She shaved the tooth down and told me she was trying to save as much of the tooth as possible. She also suggested a crown that covers the tooth, but does not go to the gum line where food can get trapped. The crown will blend with the tooth. When the temporary crown was put on it fit perfectly! She repeatedly told me to call if I experienced pain or had problems with the temporary crown. I came home and nothing hurt! I didn’t even take Tylenol. The assistants are very nice and also know what they are doing. We just moved to the area and I am so glad I found this dentist.

I just recently used Dr. West for my veneers that I had been wanting to get for several years. I shopped around, but Dr. West was by comparison the most economical, but better than that was how professional and friendly she is. She is a perfectionist which I can appreciate very much! Your teeth are something you have to be happy looking at in the mirror everyday, and she understands how important this is, and will do everything possible to make that happen for you, and won’t be happy until YOU are happy! Thats what good service is about, and thats what makes Dr West and her staff THE BEST in their field. I strongly recommend using them!

Awesome dentist! I’ve been looking for a good family dentist since moving to the Austin area. After 5 different places, I can honestly say, they are the best around town.

I live in Austin, but the recommendation I received for Dr. West convinced me she was worth the drive, and the 7:30 a.m. appointments are very helpful. Everyone at this office was very friendly and took care of all my needs, including offering a blanket, the remote and chair massage. My Kor whitening was amazing, not only in the results, but also in the process being so pleasant due to the perfectionism of Dr. West.

As someone who avoided dentists most of my adult life, I was incredibly delighted to to be introduced to Dr. West and her great team. I have had several issues I have avoided for years. From the moment I began working with Dr. West I felt very comfortable with every aspect of each process. Her administrative staff is excellent in making and reminding me of the appointment thought email, text, or voicemail. The staff who prepared me was very professional and polite. I was explained each issue and the recommended procedure and options. Dr. West was very considerate to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. They even have elevated televisions to distract me!
She is a perfectionist who makes sure the patient is provided the best treatment available. I have had several cleanings with multiple members of her staff and Dr. West’s professionalism is consistent with her entire staff. I have also sent my adult children to her who are equally pleased. This is by far, the best experience I have ever had with a medical professional and give her the highest recommendation.

Very courteous. I lost a crown and they were able to squeeze me in that day. Never felt like I was putting anybody out by being added to an obviously busy schedule.

I went today for the first time was so happy with my experience. I was told by Castle Dental that I needed a deep scale cleaning and it would cost me $ 300 with insurance. I went to West Family Dentistry for a second opinion and was told that I only needed a regular cleaning. They did it right there on the spot. Everyone was so friendly and made me feel like what I needed was most important at that moment. I recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Being a «dental nerd», I am SUPER PICKY about my dentist! This dental team is AMAZING! All of the staff here will make you feel comfortable, explain costs, treatment, insurance, EVERYTHING to you, even if you are not a dental diva! They do amazing work and will give you lots to smile about!

I’m super pleased with Dr. West and staff. After going to Gillespie down the road and realizing AFTER the fact, that they weren’t in-​network (even after I asked), I appreciated West Dentistry being forthright about pricing, insurance etc. .. I had a slight emergency with my loose implant and after she looked at it, made a call for me to see a periodontist. It was the right thing to do, she referred me to a WONDERFUL Peri doctor who dealt with it very professionally and carefully.
Thank you Dr. West! She even took my phone number home (I was a new patient) and gave me a call that evening. Ok, what Dr does that? Yes, they may call from the office, but when they’re cooking dinner at home? I felt so special and cared for.
Reminds me, I need to make an appointment for a cleaning. .. . :)
