Blanc Palette

I’ve been twice — once for the story time/​painting on Saturday morning with kids and once for a grown up evening.
The kids story time was not as fun — the poor girl teaching the class had to also check everyone in, so the class was delayed about 20 minutes. With a room full of little kids, you can imagine how that went over. Once we got started, it was fine. She was patient and encouraging and allowed the kids to customize their picture. For the price it was a fun way to spend a couple hours, but it would be better if things were more intentional and timely with that age group.
The adult evening was a good time. The instructor was fun and he had a relaxed approach. That made everyone a little more comfortable. They did have someone greeting and checking in/​helping people pay, so that made things run a little more smoothly.
One suggestion that would be nice would be to offer smaller canvas options — the 16×20 is so big and takes up a lot of space. I’d be more likely to display my picture if it were smaller.
The space is cool — and old bank with some nice updates. They have a room set up for mingling and you can also sit with your drinks by your seat, too.

I went in November of 2014 with my friend who was in from out of town. The teacher was super fun, relaxed, and patient (with the over-​indulging customers). It was worth the price and better than other paint & drink places I have visited. The building is an old bank they’ve slightly renovated. You are able to bring in your own drinks. It’s so neat! I will go back!

I have gone to Blanc Palette with friends and I just recently took my employees there for a surprise Christmas gathering. I am not a painter, but the instructors make it so easy and fun that my paintings have turned out great! Every time I look at them I smile! Many of my employees keep their new painting in their office and I love to hear them brag to others about how they didn’t even know they could paint like that and that they had the best time doing it! I have already scheduled another class to take with friends next month!
