After years of suffering from tendonitis in my left elbow, I saw Dr. Hopfner at IB&J. On the first visit, he gave me a steroid shot which helped with the pain for about 6 months. However, when the pain came back, it was worse than ever – to the point where I couldn’t lift a coffee cup with that hand. So, I went back to Dr. Hopfner and we decided on surgery to correct the issue. The surgery turned out fine and I’m finally pain free. What I liked about seeing Dr. Hopfner at this location: he was always on time for the appt, he listened to everything I had to say and he explained things in a way I could understand. His scheduler, Diane, was also awesome, working with me to schedule the outpatient surgery to suit my schedule and preference. She was also terrific about following up with the paper work that was needed by the short term disability people at work. All in all, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had with doctors, doctors offices and surgery. I’d definitely recommend Dr. Hopfner to someone needing hand or arm surgery!
