Our furnace stopped working at 2:30AM on a bitter cold(sub-zero temps) night. I called Killan(HVAC company whose sticker was on the furnace). Got there call service who said they would try to reach someone and they would give us a call back. At 6:30AM called again and was told no one had answered the call yet but that they would continue to try to reach someone and that we would get a call back. At that point I decided it was time to try another HVAC company… left a message and got a call back immediately. They gave us a time they would be there and were only a little bit past that time. I called Killian back(when the second company arrived) to cancel the service call…6 ½ hours after the initial call and I hadn’t heard back from them. I realize that they could be servicing other emergencies but it would be nice to at least be called back with a status.
