Noggin Salon

I booked my appointment with Laura, and upon my arrival I was a tad worried that I was the only one there (12:45pm, on a Friday afternoon). However, this was the most beautiful blessing in disguise type of situation. I was warmly welcomed, and consulted on what I was hoping to achieve. Laura then took me back to shampoo my hair which was calming and relaxing (I love that the sinks have head rests in them so you don’t strain your neck). We then went back to her station where she cut my hair to perfection. I have seriously waited years to replace my old stylist that moved. Since I was the only customer there, I took advantage of the relaxing ambiance and essentially meditated while getting my hair cut. Afterwards Laura made sure that I was a happy customer in saying that if I wasn’t happy with it, to get back in within a week and she would fix it. I am highly satisfied, and will definitely be returning.

This place is beautiful and relaxing. The staff is all so welcoming, attentive, and talented. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair. Laura really takes the time and has a great eye for what she does! If you are in the area, highly recommend this salon!

I recieve so many compliments on my hair after getting spoiled by Ryan! She is a color genius! I have been seeing Ryan for years, and I’m am absolutely thrilled that she and Laura opened up their own salon!
The salon is in a great location in Libertyville right by Wildberry. The salon itself is very spacious and comfortable with friendly and down to earth staff. They use Davines products which leaves your hair soft, silky smelling good all day!
The prices are very reasonable, especially compared to the money I’ve spent in the past at other salons. I highly recommend anyone to come here! You won’t regret it :)

To start, clients are greeted with a warm, friendly smile, cozy décor, and an easygoing/​relaxed atmosphere that makes for a truly pleasant salon experience. Everyone here is lovely and will make you feel at home the moment you walk in, welcoming you to an exceptional selection of beverages including: coffee, tea, and cucumber-​lemon infused water, while you wait and browse their display of Davines products (which is guaranteed to become your new, favorite line of hair products).
It took me years to find a hairstylist that meets all of my hair needs and Ryan is exactly that. She’s incredibly personable, creative, conscientious, detail-​oriented, and conveys a strong sense of passion in her work ethic. She’s easy to converse with, is concerning/​understanding to the needs of her clients, and always ensures her customers leave with utmost satisfaction. Needless to say, Ryan (who I’ll just refer to as my hair-​Goddess), is cool as hell and is awesome at what she does.
Noggin is everything you want in a hair salon and then some. If you’re searching for a salon to call ‘home’, look no further! I’ll be recommending this place to everyone I know.

I have never felt more at home at a salon as I do at Noggin! Ryan & Laura (owners/​stylists) have outdone themselves… phenomenal service, comfortable space, incredible staff members. Pure perfection in a salon!
Prices are very reasonable, especially given the area. I’ve certainly paid more for lesser quality. Ryan has been doing my hair for years, and I would follow her to the ends of the Earth. She is the only stylist I have ever been confident enough in to say, «Do what you think is best!» and I know she will rock it out. I’m so thrilled she has a space of her very own!
