Lito’s is a great little sports bar. It is very busy. I used to eat here with Dad while he was still alive. Excellent service. Cozy ambiance. Would both return and recommend.

Very underwhelming meal. The 2 stars is only reflective of the upbeat and attentive service from the hostess and waitress. Started with the crunchy corn fritters. One of the weirdest things I’ve ever eaten. The inside was very gooey, and the«honey butter» on the side had the consistency of mayonnaise. Very strange. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich. Supposed to come with chipotle sauce, pepper jack cheese and fried onions. The chipotle sauce was non-existent, resulting in a dry sandwich. The fried onions were actually caramelized onions. Not the biggest of deals, but totally different flavor profile when you’re expecting one thing and receive another. The french fries were shoestring fries that had been severely over cooked and completely flavorless. My wife had chicken as well and she said it was very dry. All in all, a pretty disappointing meal. I like to think that maybe we just didn’t order«what they’re known for».But I’ll probably never find out.

This place is a nice little hidden Gem that needs more credit. I have tried several different menu items and have never been disappointed. Food is just great. The atmosphere is more of a 3 star because it seems mostly out of date. I feel like I am taking a step back into the 90s whenever I walk in this place, but that shouldn’t stop anyone from ever eating here! The staff is just great, helpful, and always friendly!

Great service! Super friendly and very knowledgeable. Large oysters-good selection of craft beers. The fish tacos are awesome! Pasta was good, slightly spicy. The sweet chili chicken is a great appetizer! Don’t let the exterior fool you-very affordable, nice place to visit!

My mom actually looked up the ratings for this place and choose to come for Mother’s Day. Unfortunately the server was knowledgeable yet made me uncomfortable by touching my boyfriends shoulder three times. I won’t say her name but you know who you are. Then put food came out I ordered the catfish blackened with broccoli and it was soggy and bland. It must have been frozen. The broccoli was extremely dry. My boyfriend good the Mahi sandwich it was bland and the bun was not toasted even though he ordered it that way. The coleslaw was average .My mom did get a free Mimosa which was cool but her skirt steak was dry and fatty. Honestly the food wasn’t worth the $ 40 plus dollars that it cost and luck for the server I gave 20 percent. I left he a message to not touch boyfriend it’s inappropriate to touch guest at all. My boyfriend and I both have years of restaurant experience and we where not pleased. We will not go back!!!

Friendly service and very pleasant staff. You immediately hear welcomes and several greetings as you walk in the door. Our server was Lee, very accommodating and pleasant. The restaurant was pretty busy as we arrived so we waited for a table for just a few minutes. Very casual seating as they pointed at the booth were we would sit and were told when the bus-boy is done wiping down — just go have a seat. An entrée comes with two sides: I ordered blackened salmon with sweet potatoes spuds(as they call it’s) — basically waffle fries and also a Caesar salad and my husband ordered the blackened Ahi seared tuna steak with the same side but with a house salad. The food came out hot and fresh the salads were good. I think the favorite part of the entire meal for me was the crispy yet buttery croutons that are homemade. Neither of the two blackened fish were very blackened at all, in fact in my opinion, lacked any type seasoning yet alone blackened seasoning. The waffle sweet potato fries were very crispy; almost burnt a bit however from past experiences I know it’s very hard to get these waffle fries crispy so they were hot and good. We each had a ale pictured here and enjoyed thoroughly them. It was a good meal but not great.

I’m not sure why it to so long for Unilocal to lead me to Lito’s, but I sure am glad they finally did. Nestled on the corner of a strip mall, next to Publix. Parking was a bit difficult, but they are redoing the parking lot, so hopefully that will be better soon. There was a wait when I arrived, but I has no problem getting a spot at the bar. They have about 6 spots up there. The menu is mostly seafood, but there are some other options if you’re looking for something else. In addition to the standard menu, that have a lot of nightly specials. I love the variety here. I ordered blacked shrimp over a wedge salad. The shrimp were a good size and seasoned well. The ingredients were fresh, just wish I had a little more bacon. If you get an entrée or sandwich you have quite a few options for sides. I tried some of the tater tots. They were cooked crispy and are a more than generous portion size. The prime rib hoagie was excellent, as well as the burger, both coming out cooked correctly. Now let’s get to the service. Holy cow! This staff worked together like I’ve never seen before. Because of where I was sitting I saw the servers interactions with each other, the kitchen, and the bus boy. The teamwork displayed was so impressive. Everyone made sure each other had everything they needed, and were supportive of each other. If you have a good day fishing, unlike myself lately, they will cook up your catch anyway you like it! Excellent experience and very worthy of a visit whether you’re a seafood lover or not!

I genuinely like this place. The food is delicious, however every time I have gone I have had to wait at least a half an hour no matter what time I go. If I didn’t have small children i wouldn’t care but after a certain point they can only keep themselves entertained for soo long. Today was the first time I ever had an issue with the food. My husband ordered the half rack of ribs with the 6 wings. The wings were ok but his ribs weren’t fully cooked. It was literally as soft and as slimy as if it were a piece of fish with bbq sauce. I will go back because I love the food but I have a noticed the service has definitely been slacking more and more over time.

Places that serve this wide of a variety of foods don’t typically do them all well, but Lito’s never disappoints. I particularly like the Mahi tacos when they are available! Check out the lobster roll as well.

This is my favourite restaurant in lighthouse point. It’s cozy, not too loud, tiny bar, GREATANDTASTYMENU!!! It has every flavor from American, seafood, sandwiches, soups, great variety when I can’t choose a type of restaurant to go to, Lito’s is always the safest route, always friendly and my iced tea is never empty :-)

I really wasn’t expecting much, and I got what I was expecting. Had wings that were good but the steak was mediocre. Our waitress was great, but that’s about it. Personally, I will not go back.

I love Lito’s. It is one of my ‘go to ’ places whenever I am at home in Pompano Beach. Always fresh and well prepared. I come back to Lito’s as a local regular and have never been disappointed.

I’d kinda heard about this restaurant but really knew nothing about it. It sits tucked, at the end of the row, in a small shopping center. The windows were dark and from outside, looked uninviting. Once the door was opened though, a warm welcome was received from the young hostess. She explained that only space at the bar was available(19:15 on a Friday what a shock.) We opted for it and were so glad we did. Our helper here was a true treat and the highlight of our evening. Carrie was welcoming, funny, charming and enthusiastic. She was obviously very proficient in her position and knew her menu too. She was able to listen to concerns and suggest accordingly. Her attractive smile was not forced. The menu was substantial especially when you saw the size of the kitchen. Watching the food fly out convinced you that they had a decent brigade working. I’d heard rumors that they actually knew how to make a Philly steak sandwich so opted for it. Carrie convinced my wife that the battered fried haddock was the way to go. She selected it with tater tots. My Philly was decent and I’d order it again. A few more onions and a better hoagie would have improved it. The haddock was cooked perfectly but lacked a little in flavours. The tots were very good. To finish we so wanted to try a slice of server Stephanie’s home made Red Velvet cheesecake but a chocolate mousse cake with toffee was mentioned and it screamed at us. It did not disappoint. Overall I would return. Mainly for the delightful young staff members whose company and interaction made the evening. The food could be improved.(Don’t overload the fry baskets so the potatoes can move in the fat and blot the grease of your fried foods onto paper.)

I went expecting to be blown away but was only moderately pleased. My first beer was off– either bad tap or bad keg and waitress was arguing with me. Asked her to try it and she would not. Next one was fine. The two dozen little necks for $ 11 was good but there was some sand. My buddy’s oysters were somewhat warm when brought to the table. He got sick later that evening. His crackers were stale too. The ribs were amazing, and the wings were too. The saving grace of the evening. We had 5 beers– all tap– and they were almost $ 40 Dinner was $ 120 for two with one app and one entrée plus the beer. Honestly there are way better choices nearby for seafood and ribs that are not nearly as expensive. Not going back unless I just want ribs and a coke.

Recommended by a friend in the scuba diving community… Lito’s will cook your catch. Here’s my experience. 1. Staff is friendly 2. My friend ordered a Sam Adams Octoberfest on tap… Total Skunk… Like the lines haven’t been cleaned… I agree as I had a sip and it was putrid… Waitress says«we all had some earlier and it was good… They replaced it with another and we weren’t charged. 3. I ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell. The Oysters were on ice, but they were warm… They didn’t turn rancid but were not exactly fresh. 4. With the oysters came some crackers… totally stale… told the waitress and she just smiled. 5. Ordered the Ribs and wing combo… Requested the ribs dry rubbed with sauce on the side… very good. Wings were also equally good. So with mixed reviews…2 guys after diving had 5 draft beers, and the above mentioned food… for a pre tax bill of $ 102. Kind of expensive considering Litos is in the Publix«strip mall» and there are many better and affordable options in Pompano. I do not think I’ll go back.

This place has good vibes. Loves the music that was playing. It really just made me feel chill. The food was alright. I got a chicken tender basket. They gave us ALOT! Which I love! I love being able to take things home. Our waitress was nice but after we got our food she didnt come back until we got the bill. I wanted to ask for bbq sauce. But thats not that big of a deal. Overall I was satisfied.

Have been here four times, and I continue to be amazed. Had their special, «Lobsteer» Burger… AMAZING. Had to be among the top 3 burgers I ever tasted… Was topped with lobster meat, blue cheese butter, truffle oil, grilled onions on a butter toasted roll, Yum.

Another great find thanks to Unilocal!Lito’s is an unassuming family run restaurant located in the Shoppes at Beacon Light Publix strip mall right off US1 just north of Copans. The restaurant is kept very clean, it has several booths and a small bar area with several TV’s at the bar and through out the restaurant. We sat at the bar, I took a peak in the kitchen and it was immaculate! Service is extremely friendly and attentive, they appear to be having a great time and the family/employees get along great. I have to say I was surprised by the quality of the food, everything was executed perfectly and full of flavor. The chicken wings were large, meaty and cooked just right — not overly dry or overcooked in the inside, they were moist and just right. The prime rib sub was amazing! Cooked blackened medium rare as requested, the seasoning wasn’t overpowering, the steak was served as an entire large cut, not shaved or chopped, full of flavor and served in a thin bread sub, I opted for the steamed broccoli and zucchini squash instead of the fries, they were fresh not frozen and perfectly cooked. I also love that they offer a variety of daily specials and soups, I don’t care for seafood soups so I was thrilled to see a steak soup featured as the soup of the day. Also on special was the pot roast, I was it coming out of the kitchen and it looked amazing, I need to go back to try it. Lito also offers to cook your own fresh fish, I know we will definitely return with our fresh catch to take advantage of this service!

I was really impressed with Lito’s. Though a fairly good sized restaurant, only serves beer and wine, but has a bar. But, best of all is that it is a family run operation that really cares about its customers, its food preparation and it shows. It’s clean, neat and with polite attentive service. I went for the Bahamian Conch chowder and found it to be one of the best most tasty around. I also had their Lobster Roll which was not only delicious with the roll bun having been caringly toasted as well as loaded with delicious lobster. What’s more, in price comparison with what is served either at Linda Bean’s or Kelly’s Landing, a bargain. Another good thing about Lito’s is that if you happen to be lucky as a fisherman, as we occasional are, but too tired out to cook catch, you can take it to Lito’s and they’ll prepare it for you!
