Staples

Ever since the Staples location closer to me went out of business, this one has been the one I’d go to. I’ve been disappointed a couple times when their website said they had something in stock in this location, but it turns out they don’t have it but just didn’t bother to update their inventory numbers. It’s a huge bummer, as it’s 20 – 30 minutes away. The last couple times I came, they just said their computer listed the item as in stock but they couldn’t see it anywhere, and they figured it sold without updating. No solutions or suggestions for alternatives. Ended up having to leave and going to an Office Depot closer to me to get it. I used to preferentially buy supplies from Staples because I was a rewards member with them for the longest time, but as their locations keep closing down and the site doesn’t accurately reflect what they actually have in stock, it’s getting increasingly difficult to justify making the trips to the store without knowing I’ll get what I need.

Great service, went in to get a menu laminated and customer service was great they even let me in and it was 3 min left to close thy still took care of me.

I was rather taken to read some really great reviews on this Staples store. I said to myself, how could this be? After all Staples is nothing but big box outlet store, I’ve been to several off them generally enduring lack a lack of customer service along with might be akin to a disorganized organization in their displays and setups. So, being in the market for a 4T backup for my computer, I decided to give it a try and I’m pleased to report that my fellow Unilocalers were correct, this really is Staples store that is easily a cut above the rest.
On entering I immediately noted everything was clean, no boxes littering the aisles, the customer service desk was uncluttered and all of the displays in a neat orderly form of presentation. As I wondered the aisles I was politely asked more than once if I needed assistance and when I finally began look at the various backup units was immediately approached by a sales clerk who was polite, helpful and best of all most knowledgeable about every facet of each and every backup unit they had available which proved to be most helpful to me in making my selection.
So yes, I agree with the previous reviewers, this is a really great Staples and now I too am a fan of it. It really is a cut above other Staples locations which I would generally only rate Two or at best Three Stars.

Quick, efficient

Had a great experience buying a new computer here. The saleswoman helped me pick out the right computer for me, and it wasn’t on the shelf! It was in the back and on sale and its great. Then Lucas took my broke down dead computer and moved over every singe file for FREE! It was part of the promotion to move one set of files but he truly hooked me up. I can’t say enough, the team was great, friendly and wicked knowledgeable. I’ll be back again and again.

It’s an office supply store, but the big differentiation for me is the friendliness and consistency of the staff.
Selection is good and the proximity to my office is outstanding, although I’m sure that didn’t go into their thought process.
Prices are good and the often have specials. Ding for the absolute molasses fax machine, if you find yourself having to fax something.
