I stopped in here today with my wife for an afternoon pick me up. The inside of Abigail’s is quaint with a coffee bar and ice cream freezer on one side and four tables(seating for 3 each) and a couple of leather couches on the other side. I ended up ordering my usual coffee drink, an Americano, in the 20 oz version. After only a short wait my drink was ready. The taste of the coffee had some fruity undertones to it and I honestly wasn’t a fan of it. However with that being said I think that they did a fine job with the espresso shots for my coffee as it was decently strong and had no bitterness. I think that the problem was that I wasn’t a huge fan of the varietal of coffee that they were using. The workers here also seemed rather friendly and they did a really good job of helping the person behind me who didn’t really know what he wanted. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. While I wasn’t the biggest fan of the coffee, it was just my personal preference and I’d be more than willing to try another Americano with some different coffee.

On the return from a long distance 7 state motorcycle ride, we pulled into Lingonier in the early evening, and found there was acar show taking up most of the streets in town. We decided to stop, stretch our legs, and look around. Tucked in a corner of the main square in town was Abigail’s. The place was packed but the staff was friendly, happy, efficient, and enjoying the crowd. Had a couple of sandwiches, chicken salad on a croissant for me… hot toastedcroissant with cool dilled chicken salad with a smattering of grapes… perfect. had a root beer float for dessert… and it was only about 25 dollar for her and I. It’s too far for me to come on a regular basis but if I’m ever in the area… I’m back.

There breakfast bagels with egg, cheese and meat is SOOO good! The coffee And teas are quite good too. We grabbed breakfast here a few times during our stay. Go! You’ll like it! Welcoming little café with friendly people. Small patio outside where you can enjoy the nice weather and see all the flowers in the diamond.

This café has charm and coffee to spare. When arriving here on a Saturday morning, it was packed full of people — maybe a mix of locals and out-of-towners? They all seem happy and pleased with their beverages. The counter is lined with baked goods in waxed paper, like scones and cookies, indicating recent baking and screaming home-made appeal. As soon as you walk in, the ice cream case glares at you, daring you to walk by without looking, and to not order some. Challenge for some, I am sure. The café is not very large, and you cannot avoid walking by the ice cream. However, the focus for our group was caffeine of the coffee variety. We were all pleased with our 16 oz. drinks of espresso drinks. They have interesting syrup concoctions that you can pre-order, or, select your own. Traditionalists can simply order a latte, cappuccino, Americano or the like in 12 oz., 16 oz. or 20 oz. option. Prices are fair. Staff is warm and friendly. Coffee flavor is alright, but I have to say, I am used to a stronger, richer and more robust flavor that carries through the beverage. When I ordered a soy latte, it hit me first with the soy, then with the espresso. I am glad it wasn’t too sweet, but, I would maybe order with an extra shot next time to bring out a bit more of the espresso flavor. Still, it was nice to have the dairy free latte option! The food looked inviting, but it was all about the espresso drinks.

I’ve been here multiple times and it’s been great! They have a whole wall of flavor syrup stuff to choose from and it’s situated nicely on the Diamond, which is perfect in the summer. They’ve added music since the first time I was there, which was awkwardly quiet, but it’s a lot better now. The hours are also a little unreliable since they close at 5:30 but they’re open at 7 in the morning so it makes up for it!

Started my lunch with dessert… Enjoyed chocolate chip pound cake… While I waited for my lunch… I ordered«The Homer» which delicious the mixture of turkey, bacon and coleslaw is delicious. Bread is perfectly toasted and the cheese melted on top really makes the sandwich. I would definitely order it again.

Chicken Salad Croissant was DELICIOUS! Not too big a fan of the milk-shakes. They didn’t have a lot of flavor … «watered down» by too much milk maybe? They were not thick Shakes by any means. But We all ordered sandwiches(we had a party of 4 people for lunch) and all the sandwiches & wraps were GREAT!!!

I popped into Abigal’s on Christmas Eve for a hot chocolate. There were two younger employees working, and they were very friendly… I don’t think if I was working on Christmas Eve I’d be that pleasant! The hot chocolate was inexpensive and hit the spot. I will certainly go back to Abigal’s next time I am in Ligonier and I need a warm drink

Abigails. Ventured into this place during Fort Days. I assume they normally have more tables in the place and had them cleared out for the event. WOW I can’t believe how fast and friendly the service was. Impressive ladies!
