This an amazing one man show restaurant. The owner is very friendly. and will make sure you get what you ordered. the food is great and the interior with antiques is a very interesting and nice memento to the past. Definitely stop by here if you are in ligonier looking for a small town restaurant

Daniel’s ethiopian dinners are fantastic, and it’s the only place I know of to get Ethiopian around here outside of Indianapolis or Chicago. The spice is very toned down from what I expect the cuisine to normally be like, but expect some really hot peppers here and there.
The dinner is served on injera (yummy bread made of teff) with more to tear off and eat with. There are always three or four different things including cottage cheese. The diner is very old-​timey and mainly serves American breakfast and lunch.

Ethiopian food in Ligonier?! Yeah! Every Friday evening from 5pm — 8pm Daniel serves traditional, delicious Ethiopian food. The Ingera is unbelievable and the dishes are lively with curry.
This is the closest place in Northeast Indiana that serves Ethiopian and it is fantastic! I would highly recommend you try it out.
