Giant Eagle

The previous reviews are correct; this is basically the only place in town to do your one stop shopping for groceries. I kind of like this particular location due to the fact that it fits in with the rest of town. It’s not overly big and there is no big flashy awning out front to make it stand out like a sore thumb.
Even though it is does not have a huge footprint from the outside, they sure know how to stock the shelves with items that are diverse. It is also set up so that it is easy flowing when you need to just browse. It looks as if they had a tad bit remodeling in recent years as it is bright and very organized in here. The parking lot has ample parking, but is a tad bit tricky to maneuver around at times.

For the location and what else is around, I was impressed that they had a strong, diverse selection of foods at this supermarket. I am not a fan of big chain markets, and I would rather go elsewhere, but when you need food, you need food.
Their produce was pretty impressive, containing both normal varieties of fruits for the season like peaches and strawberries, as well as organic options. The seasonal ones were up front, and the ones out of season were further back. I liked that lay out! Also, plenty of choices for vegetables, including local corn and squashes, as well as organic choices. Peppers were from far far away, but that’s alright.
Continuing into the store, you really will find everything you need for a chill weekend. If you are trying to cook a 5-​star gourmet meal, you’ll be hard pressed for exact ingredients, but a creative well-​trained/​experienced chef would be just fine.
There are options for baking, grilling, or chilling — i.e. plenty of frozen entrees, pre made foods (cereal is a meal?), and junk food (chips, snacks, etc.). I liked that there were natural choices, organic choices and plenty of vegan options (dairy free ice cream and milk, meat substitutes in the freezer section).
A-​ok for me, but for this location, it’s impressive.

As far as I can tell, the best (or only) grocery store in the area. We went to grab some stuff to make a quick dinner on christmas eve and it was quite crowded.
Normal selection for a giant eagle, friendly cashier, plenty of parking and easy access.
