This is similar to Cordon Bleu. Budding chefs on campus serve 3-​course meals at a bargain. For $ 17.50, you get an appetizer, an entrée and a dessert. Further, there is no tax or tip. The menu boasts of a good selection. I had Manhattan Clam Chowder, Seafood Newberg, and Chocolate Panna Cotta. Soup was very good. Seafood Newberg with shrimp, crab and scallop was enjoyable, but a bit on the salty side. The dessert was just right. Hubby had clam chowder, Stuffed Leg of Lamb and Fruit Tart. He liked it except that the lamb, although in good flavor, was only lukewarm when served.
Service was friendly and attentive although our primary server was at times slightly awkward. This is why the students are in this program, to learn the ropes. Diners have to complete a comment card at the end. This fine dining is not available year round, and it’s usually available only for lunch. Reservation is necessary. Call 808−245−8365.
