Pakalana was a joy to work with from the very first email! Her responses were thorough and thoughtful and she really made it clear that she wanted to make sure everything would be perfect for me on my wedding day. And she did a great job with my hair and makeup and with the hair of my five bridesmaids! She arrived early to set up and diligently worked to make sure we were finished on time. Everyone’s hair was gorgeous and exactly what I had asked for! My makeup was natural but so beautiful and elegant. Mahalo nui loa Pakalana for your fantastic work!

I had a reverse perm and a cut from pakalana today and I love it! I have unruly curly hair underneith and straight hair on the top so no one has known how to handle it until today! She seemed knowledgeable about hair and she was easy to talk to! I will definitely see her again!

I used to live on Kauai and this was my go to hairstylist. ‘Paka’ always was open to ideas and kept up on the latest trends while keeping me within my wash/​wear requirements. We always had fun trying out new ideas while still keeping it within what was required for work and play. I can’t wait until I can get another cut and color with her.
