This place is Awesome! They make the best pizza at this location. My husband and I go there twice a week(yes we love this place) very clean and a very friendly staff. Kudos to the owner for doing a good job at hiring the right people.

I would have given it 5 stars because the environment is very clean and the food is great but I swear everyone that passed me spoke and greeted except the supervisor on duty and she was the first one to see me come in! No hello, we’ll be with you shortly nothing very unapproachable but other than that my experience here was pleasant and I love the value! Tastes much better than the plastic tasting pizza that Little Caesars offers lol

I love this place. Can’t say much else, you can only go wrong not going here. Staff are always pleasant, and my food always hits the spot. I now get my office to pickup pizza there for meetings.

My night ended with a pizza from Hungry Howies! I swear this place has the best tasting pizza ever. I hope they open a location closer to me though. Until then I’ll just make that drive. Oh and customer service is good. Always a smiling face when I come in.

There was a Hungry Howie’s in Statesboro when I was in school down there, and I have to say, it probably contributed to the Freshman 30 I gained. No joke. Flavored pizza crust! It’s like having garlic bread with your pizza, except part of your pizza is garlic bread! Genius! Since I frequent for lunch, I typically order their veggie sub. Get this — the«bread» is actually pizza crust! And, it’s all buttered up so you have to use, like, 5 napkins just to eat it. It’s my inner fat kid’s guilty pleasure, for sure.

Hungry Howie’s was a-ok. Tried them last night, using their online ordering system. The ordering flow was fine, no major glitches I’ve encountered at other pizza sites. The order was ready and waiting when I arrived. Hungry Howie’s is similar to Jet’s Pizza and Marco’s. As a chain, they do pizza better than the older chains(Domino’s, the ‘Hut, Papa Johns), and are more appealing with their salad options. I ordered a medium ‘pepperoni plus’(I think it was called), asked for it well done w/asiago cheese crust. They got the well done part right on, and the crust was a nice add-on. Like having a new flavored bread stick to enjoy after finishing the slice. I also ordered a large Greek salad. It was sizeable, for two, and I was pleased overall. HH is not New York style, but it is what it is and does it well. It is chain-style pizza, made well, priced as expected, and delivered in reasonable time. I’m sort of indifferent, but would try them again over a Domino’s type, especially due to their salad options. Short story — when I walked in I looked the cashier in the eyes and said«I want to speak with Howie». «Your order’s under Howie?» «No, can I speak with Howie?» «Howie… where?» «Howie, here. He owns the place, right?» «Uhhh, he’s not here, ever.» She looked SOOOO confused! I smiled, we laughed, I got my order and left. Hah! Fun times…

Another Groupon to use. I ordered 2 veggie pizzas with different crusts(butter cheese and garlic). It was pretty good! Wish it was closer to the house.

I have to say, I LOVE Hungry Howies. The pizza is great(have you tried the flavored crust??). The service is great. They’re friendly, efficient, and tech savvy(I follow them on twitter!). The specials are hard to beat — but honestly, that’s not what keeps me coming back. It’s the pizza. I’ve tried a few varieties and I have never been disappointed. This location is almost a year old and the owners really care about their customers. It’s a real small business run by real people — people who happen to bake some great pizzas. If you’re in the area you should definitely give them a try!

I’d give ZERO stars to this location, if I could. The first time I ordered pizza from them online, they said it’d be ready to pick up in 15 minutes. 20 minutes later, they hadn’t even noticed my order. Another time, I ordered online and intended on paying cash upon pick-up. When I sent someone to pick it up, the Hungry Howies people said it was paid for online and gave a credit card slip to sign. They later realized the mix up, called me, and demanded that I come back in and pay. I couldn’t at the time, since it was late in the evening I don’t live nearby. The owners left me harassing messages on my cell phone and work phone for 3 weeks, yelled at me when I finally got them on the phone, and even accused me of committing credit card fraud… when THEY were the ones that asked us to sign the slip. Pizza is nothing to talk about. It’s cheap, that’s why I went there. The customer service is the absolute bottom of the barrel. Horrid experience.
