My son was scheduled to have his wisdom teeth removed on 8÷18÷2015 at 11:00 at the Lilburn location. We arrived at 10:30am and he was taken back around 10:45. They told me it would take about 45 minutes. He was brought out to me about 12:15pm. I understand pre and post op can take a little while. I was not pleased with the fact that I never once was introduced to the Dentist/Oral surgeon who was doing my sons procedure. I think it is good practice to at least come out and introduce yourself to the parent. It only takes a minute. Also, I have a 250.00 deductible. I had already met 139.00 of that but they were trying to charge me the entire deductible plus the 10% coinsurance. I even brought a print out of my benefits and what had been paid already. They said their verifiers weren’t on site and wouldn’t let me talk with them. They were nice enough to accept the 110.00 remaining deductible plus the 10% coinsurance with me understanding I would need to pay a bill if it comes. I recommend you know your benefits and amounts paid prior to visiting this office. Maybe even print out your coverage/benefits and take them with you to your visit. Overall, not a bad experience. I only used them because they were close to home and in network with my sons dental insurance.

I took my son to his cleaning appointment on Saturday which was great! Seeing the appointment was made around March. The staff was friendly but a little to «programmed» for my son and I. There was no customer service given to my son. I would have thought I was the patient, as all question and talking was directed to me. Which I get as I am the parent. The only question that was really asked of him was in the very beginning of the appointment by the assistant. And, she really just wanted to make sure he didn’t give her a hard time. Everything else was pretty fine until it came time to schedule treatment. They tell me that my son has a few cavities, and we should take care of them while there small. However since the next available opening is almost two months later, I might as well plan for the worst. There was no room to see him at all, not even to take care of the worst at that time. I get it’s summer and there are many kids just like mines who will need things done before school starts again. But I would feel such a busy office will understand that and be able to make things happen right then and there. Unfortunately we will have to find a office that is more equipped for our«2015» lifestyle. We can’t wait forever.

They don’t have control of their business and appointments. Very unorganized and unprofessional, will never return. Too long of a wait just to find out they scheduled incorrectly. Now I have to call another dentist for many child and make her wait another month for service.

This office told me my 4 year old son had four cavities and quoted me $ 800 in services. I took him for a 2nd opinion at another dentist and they said he had NO cavities. I will be filing a complaint with the state and BBB, as well as reporting to the dental board. This place is a factory scam and felt unclean. They also continue to call and send mail after I have requested to be removed from the marketing lists. Stay away!

My son had an emergency with his space maintainer and being new to the area, I searched the closest children’s dentistry. I am so happy Idecided on Kool Smiles. Not only did they assure me they could evaluate the problem he was having, but once we were seen, they also performed his cleaning and x rays all in the same visit. Turns out, he no longer needed to keep the device, and they removed it quickly without hurting him! I was so relieved. Another great attribute about this office is they also see adults! I was happy to make my appointment after we checked out.
