This festival was on a smaller scale. There was mostly the Romanian community that was present. There were lots of food choices. Since this was a fundraiser event, you had to purchase tickets for the food. I am unsure how much each ticket cost since I wasn’t hungry then had to leave for my next event. For the short duration I was there, the guy singing Romanian was pretty cool. People gathered around him and danced while he sang. He was a trooper since the light rain that came through didn’t deter him or the audience that came up and danced. Other than this, there was a Cricket booth doing a promotion and a mini area that sold some crafts but mostly religious items like bibles and figurines. Parking was free, but it was terrible for me since I was directed to park atop a sloping hill where I was blocked in. The drizzly rain didn’t help much either as I had to use my reversing skills to wind my way around cars and up the slop while on grass and mud. Yeah. Not fun. Overall, for a small festival event, it was pretty decent. I might go next time and actually have a food tasting.
