Loved Western Sizzlin from the day we came to Ohio in 1985 until now always great food waitresses always have a smile and the bathrooms are clean!!!

The only place in lima I will get a steak. I don’t eat red meat much but when I do it has to be western sizzlin. By far best steak I the area and for miles around. The buffet/salad bar is always fresh and the hot sides are great. Friendliest staff around I have never once had a bad meal there.

I went here for the first time with my friend. Our waitress was so nice and sweet. The food was great too, I ordered a medium well new York strip. It came out well done, but considering I paid only 13 dollars I was fine with it, it was still delicious! Most places around here give me well done even if I order Medium well, so I don’t mind.

The food is cold. Waitress took steak back to cook he put it back on grill she then returned with steak that I already ate off and I said I wanted a fresh steak. She then said the cook wouldn’t cook me a fresh steak so I got up and left. Bad service will not recommend this place. Place is very outdated and customer service is bad including the managers. Beware of this place

Very good steaks and large fries here. Always liked the Sizzlin Steak Houses when I was stationed in Jacksonville, NC. Not many of them around. Enjoyed my meal and the service was very good also. Salad bar was fresh also.

This is basically a run down Ryan’s. People were very nice and helpful but the food fell short. Spent $ 18 for a meal that when I left was not satisfied. Don’t expect much when eating here.

Delicious food at a reasonable price. Offers a nice salad bar, a good selection of food, and friendly service. May I recommend the roast beef manhattan… absolutely amazing!

I’m told Western Sizzlin is more of a sit-down-and-enjoy restaurant, but I went the carryout route with a $ 5.99 coupon.
The food was plentiful: sirloin steak tips with onions and peppers, a side (onion rings, baked potato, sweet potato, french fried), a slice of buttered Texas toast, a dinner roll and cinnamon butter. But I naively ordered my tips medium-well, and they were overcooked and a tad bland.
The onions and peppers didn’t seem sauteed or grilled. Perhaps they were steamed. And the onion rings were soggy.
The cinnamon butter on the hot roll was a delight, and the portioning of the food was perfect.
