Whole Health Dentistry

I normally was very pleased with this office, however, I will NOT return as a patient, nor will the other 3 members of my family. My son and I had our regular checkups done. I provided them with my insurance information, which hadn’t changed since our previous visit there, and we left. About a month later I receive a letter saying my insurance company refused to pay because they stated we had other insurance. I was confused by this, so I stopped in to talk to them. Long story short, their office billed a previous insurance I had not had for 5 years, despite providing them with my current card which they had billed for all our previous visits. They assured me it would be corrected and I left there trusting it would be. 2 months later, in receive a collection notice, in my son’s name because in the process of dealing with this he turned 18. All in all it took me over 2 YEARS to get this corrected, when it was their error from the beginning. Once they billed the correct company, they received a check within a month and were paid and left me a voice mail saying they receive it (which in a still have on my phone). Thinking everything was fixed, I called to make our appointments and they told me we STILL had a balance. No one had bothered to update our accounts. It took me driving to their office, making them call the collection office in front of me THEN I drove to the collection company and made them give me proof in writing that they corrected it on their end. After all of this hassle for 2 YEARS this office had the nerve to tell me that if we needed their services that I would have to now pay for everything in full upfront, and they would reimburse me once they got paid by the insurance company. I asked if this was a new policy for everyone and was told no, it was because of the «slow pay» by my insurance company. This ticks me off because it was THEIR fault they billed the wrong company and once they billed the correct one, they received payment in less than 30 days. They just lost 4 patients because of this crap.
