I went to the coach store today with the intention of purchasing a large bag for my mom to use for her laptop. Apparently the Coach store has a new no food or drink policy. As I went to walk into the store with my stroller and Starbucks drink in the cup holder the woman working at the front door told me I was not allowed to bring my drink into the store. I was ready to spend $ 200 – 300 on a bag that I gladly purchased at a different store who allowed me to bring in my drink. What a ridiculous policy for a store at the outlets that is located right next to the Starbucks. I won’t be shopping there again!

Crazy deals. they had 50% off on Valentine’s day and my wife went in looking for glasses. They had some nice pairs all going for $ 64 after the discount, but my wife wanted polarized. We asked and they delivered. Apparently they got a few pairs in that normally aren’t intended for the outlets and we just happened to ask on the right day. $ 64 for a pair of Coach polarized sun glasses is the best deal we got all day and we went in probably 20 stores. Great buys here.

I love the customer service of this place! Last visit I purchased a pair of patent black flip flops after being told about them by an employee. However, once I left the store and tried them on, I realized they were too slippery to walk in and as hard as I tried to justify keeping them, I finally returned today to send them back. The guy handling my return was super nice as well as apologetic that it didn’t work out. The girls who were there(who had helped me purchase them) were shocked to find out that the flip flops were hard to walk in and admitted they too usually wear $ 2 Old Navy ones just because they stay on your feet better. It really is like shopping with friends; good prices and good opinions to guide your purchase!

sigh… i have an unhealthy obsession with coach purses. but i’m also nothing if not a thrifty shopper, so i purchase my bags at the outlet! they usually carry bags from previous seasons, and since i’m not a serisous fashionista, i sure don’t mind using last seasons bag for years to come. i once snagged a checkbook wallet here for about $ 30. which is PENNIES compared to what they sell for at full price. they were marked for $ 70, but some had small marks on them, so they were marked down even more. the wallet i found had the slightest imperfection on it, barely detectable, and who am i to argue with over 50% off?! staff is decent here… there when you need them, and not when you don’t. the lines at the register get really long, so be prepared to wait, especially on the weekends. also, if you sign up for their mailing list you get an extra 20% off coupon every now and then. sweet! so i can keep feeding my coach addiction without going broke.

My wife is the real expert here, but judging from the frequent trips she makes and the place always being crowded with tourists and locals alike, I would venture to say they have good deals.
