Fast food. Terrible food. 1 star is far too many. Even if in a hurry in this area would not stop again.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. The food isn’t bad but the wait is absolutely ridiculous. Tonight I stopped to get a hot dog, waited at least 10 minutes in the line with a car in front of me, he didn’t get his order taken and pulled off and left and I followed. Terrible customer service. If you don’t mind waiting 20 minutes in the line then you would like it

Purchased food there tonight and it was missing an item. I called when I got home and the«manager» was quick to dismiss me and tell me that they didn’t charge me for the missing item … I told him that wasn’t true(and I had the receipt to prove it). He told me I was more than welcome to come back and buy another chicken. By this point he had me so furious I told him that he did not want me coming in there ! He kept it up and I called him a name and told him I would take it up with corporate. I wound up getting in my car and wasting more time and showing this idiot the receipt … He then gave the lamest apology ever. I told him it didn’t need to escalate to where it did — he took it to a whole new level when he told me that I didn’t pay for the time that they forgot to put in the bag and I could come back and purchase another chicken. He should have listened to me and checked his receipts before making such a bold statement. He went as far as saying«oh I remember that receipt — you weren’t charged». Obviously this happens a lot. Never ever again will we be going there.

I decided to give sonic a try today because I was in the area. Boy was that a mistake. I went through the drive through, and had to repeat my order multiple times for the girl to get it correct. Once I got to the window I was given the wrong order and charged incorrectly. Once I realized I was given the wrong order I knocked on the window and told the girl inside. I had already eaten some of the cold unseasoned fries and was beginning to get more skeptical. The girl asked for the bag back to give to the person behind me. As I already mentioned I had eaten some of the fried and informed her of this. Once I had the correct food and all was resolved I drove home and broke open my meal. My chicken sandwich had some many onions on it that was all I could taste even after scrapping them off, my fries were cold and flavorless. Needless to say I will not be going back and feel bad for the person behind me who had eat my left over fries … Don’t worry I had just hand sanitized!

Best milkshakes ever. I am on a hunt for the best milkshake and this is the winner so far. It makes me a very happy camper. Best tater tots ever.

Good place. Good value. Great alternative to McDs or BK. Eat outside, eat in car, or drive thru. Treat the kids who serve nicely. ANDSLOWDOWNDRIVINGIN&OUT !! Good family vibe… but can be spoiled by impatient drivers or drama-mamas sitting in their cars, jerking servers around sending their food back repeatedly. C’mon man!

Sonic doesn’t have great food(at all) but the combos are plentiful and inexpensive. I like that they offer tots with the combos and kids meals. We come to sonic to watch the workers skate over and pray that they don’t fall. My son jokes he’s gonna carry index cards with numbers on them to rate any wipeouts. We also always come to Sonic for the desserts. Whether afternoon or late night you can get your inner fat girl/guy on and enjoy a slush, ade, milkshake or sonic blast creation. Know what I’m sayin? Yum! This location is convenient to the outlets and a nice alternative to McDonald’s, which is across the road. The employees are friendly and come around to offer additional condiments. Take that Golden Arches.

I have been to this Sonic a number of times since it has opened. I never had any issues except for the last few times I used the drive thru. NEVERAGAIN! The first of my last 3 experiences we waited a long time in the drive thru line to find that our Raspberry Ice Teas were undrinkable because there was way too much syrup in them. On the 2nd visit I actually pulled out of line after I ordered because I waited over 13 minutes with still 3 cars ahead of me. So today I tried my 3rd drive thru visit. The wait time was still long but much shorter than the last 2 visits however after pulling away I realized that they had missed a Chicago Dog that was ordered and paid for and all 3 of our Raspberry ice teas were undrinkable again. I will not be trying Sonic for a 4th time!

Drive-thru addict checks in. I was here in December of 2012. I will confess that I have been here many, many times before. What makes me keep coming back? The food. I ordered the medium combo. When I unwrapped the burger it was actually steaming! A dream come true! A steaming hot burger! Yum! The service has always been quick and friendly. They don’t allow the drive-thru line to back up either. They actually send additional employees outside to help out with the drive-thru. Sonic is ranked as #1 in my fast-food category. Why? Because they continue to deliver great food and service time and time again. (Store #5953)

The food quality is on par with other Sonic’s but this Sonic has the slowest service I have ever seen. Even during non-busy times it takes forever. So if you are looking for a good greasy meal that takes forever to be delivered this Sonic is for you.

Liz F must have had the JV squad working b/c this Sonic has«roller girls» every time I do lunch at this Sonic.(When I say roller girls, I don’t mean Roller Derby chicks, I mean females with roller skates on) Moving on… Often I chose to have lunch here, it’s extremely fast for a «made to order» fast food joint. I suggest a breakfast burrito, they’re good all times of day and there’s a great variety of them. Sonic’s also cheap, ask for«no ice» just like Chik fila, they load you up with ice and no soda. Expect a Sonic Bomb, but«Worth It!»

Sonic is the ultimate hangover cure. Greasy, cheap, fast and great sugary drinks. My boyfriend is a trip and perfect. He told me to get dressed up for v-day and took me here. SO, this sonic will forever have fond and hilarious memories. That aside, this is your average Sonic. It’s fast food with great lime-aid. Get the cherry lime-aid you won’t regret it. My only disappointment? They didn’t deliver on roller skates.

Being from Hawaii, there is no Sonic, so naturally I had to try it. Food: Super Sonic cheeseburger — Tastes like Burger King. I was told that Sonic is up there with In N Out. I should unfriend that person. Overall: Didn’t care much for eating in the car either. There is outdoor seating but the weather in November is not exactly the comfy burger-eating type. Requested to have more condiments & napkins brought out but the girl never returned.

The burgers are pretty good. The Pumpkin Pie shake is pretty yummy(seasonal). I agree with a previous comment that the employees frequently mess up orders. Definitely check before you leave.

For fast food burger places, it has to be near the top. Wide selection of options– hamburgers, toasters, hot dogs, breakfast, etc. All fairly well priced. The Sonic Blasts desserts are the best of any fast food chain, where they actually give you plenty of toppings, etc. The only problem with this location is that their employees seem to lack any personality at all, and they oftentimes mess up the orders. Otherwise, the better of the fast food burger places.

As far as fast food goes, it’s above average. The problem I have is with the consistency of the food – stone cold, gross burgers on one trip, hot, perfectly prepared burger on another trip. Luckily, they’re pretty good more often than not. The onion rings are really bland and do taste more like(bland) funnel cake as another reviewer said. The tots and fries are often overly salty and sometimes undercooked. The new dogs aren’t great – the toppings are better than the dogs themselves. And the burgers are good-to-very-good when prepared properly.

Finding a Sonic was like finding an Easter Egg. You search and search and get SO excited when you find one, but then realize it’s still just an egg. Sonic is still just a fast food joint. However, the idea of an old fashioned drive-thru with people bringing your food to your car is appealing. The food is pretty good. I am not a fan of fast food burgers, but I can say that their burgers aren’t too bad. I also like that they offer a lot of different items that other places don’t have. And their bfast menu is pretty hefty. Also, their drink menu is definitely impressive, with their flavored lemon/lime-ades and let’s not forget about their milkshakes and Sonic Blasts, Oreo is my fave. And if you’re not satisfied with the experience, drive 4 mins for some retail therapy at the Phila Premium Outlets. and pack an order of tots for the trip.

Don’t bother with the drive thru service because you’ll just wait, and wait, then wait some more THEN when you get home you’ll realize that they completely messed up your order. So far, that’s happened 2 times to me. It won’t happen again. We have also gone and parked and the service really wasn’t all that much better. You still have the hit or miss service. You may get someone enthusiastic or some wanna be emo kid who’s just thinking about how he’d like to off himself by being buried in the drive up trash bins. And honestly, the food isn’t any better than any other fast food joint. In fact, I’d say that the McDonalds up the road in Royersford is a step up from this place. The prices are a bit outta line for what you get. Luke warm burger or chicken sandwitch + Limp fries = not a happy diner. Would not recommend going there unless you lost your tastebuds in a horrible smelting accident.

I’d never actually been to a Sonic before but I had always wondered about them. So it was perfect when they built one very close by! For a few weeks, the place was so packed that we didn’t even try to go. Incredible lines! We went the other night though and things have calmed down to the point where we could just drive right in. What makes this place unique is the«drive-in» setting. You pull into a parking space and right there you have a full menu. When you know what you want, you press the button and tell the attendant your order. You then pay by card right there and soon enough your food is brought right out to you. That’s pretty much all there is to it. Kinda neat I thought, I dug the 50’s vibe. So we’ve established that the experience itself is kinda cool, but how is the food? I ordered a hamburger and large fries, my wife got a cheeseburger, regular fries, and a milkshake, and our daughter got the chicken strips, tater tots, and a chocolate milk. This was a comfort food meal because we are all recovering from colds! Our meal was delivered to the car pretty quick. I was kinda bummed to see that they sent me two cheeseburgers instead of hamburgers. This always happens to me, its some sort of kink in the universe that I have come to accept. Let’s rate the food: Hamburger, Chicken Strips, and Cheeseburger: Good overall. No better than what you’d get at Wendy’s, Burger King, or McDonalds though. One of my hamburger buns was actually a little stale, kinda hard. They were kind of sloppily put together too, I’ve seen better hamburgers«built» in similar fast food places. The chicken strips looked good, my daughter liked them. Fries and Tater Tots: The fries were decent, but Burger King and McDonalds easily bests them. Their«large» fry is really not all that large actually, kind of surprising in this day and age of «value meals». The tater tots were absolutely atrocious though. They had obviously been made about 3 weeks earlier and were left to sit under a light bulb before being served to us. I’d be embarrassed to send something like that out. And Sonic is batting 1.000 because both the fries and tater tots were lukewarm at best. Chocolate Milkshake: Unfortunately, the«chocolate» milkshake was not as rich as what you might have gotten back in the«drive-in» days. This is your basic vanilla ice cream mixed with chocolate syrup to create a very«vanilla» chocolate milkshake, if you will. Boooring. It all amounts to a rather stale experience that the cool 50’s drive-in concept just couldn’t save. Perhaps if the place had been swamped I could understand, but there is no reason for our food to have been sloppy, lukewarm, and just plain unsatisfying. What this comes down to is that if you need the campy drive-in experience and don’t mind throwing your diet away on mediocre food, then you should go here. Me? If I’m doing a burger and fries(which is very rarely) I’m going to get it from a place that at least serves me fresh and hot food. You can easily top the food with a trip to Wendy’s, BK, or McDonalds. Or if you really want to do it in style, go to Five Guys Burger and Fries.
