Perfectly grilled halibut, moist! Side pancakes were huge, fluffy with nice pancake aroma, crisp thin sides. Serving is plentiful. Service very friendly, quick, excellent!

Where is the manager? Owner? I don’t understand this place. It’s in a great location, the center of the busiest part of Lincoln City. They are on the top of the results when I searched for breakfast on Unilocal and there aren’t a ton of breakfast options. I clicked on directions to this place and their address is wrong on Google… They can change this easily through their google plus page… But when I call and ask where they are she said yeah it’s weird but were closer to the middle of town. We finally find them after just going to find it and driving around. The building looks cute from the outside, a humble little yellow building with red trim, I think this place will be homey and charming. We parked and walked to the front and there are two doors, no signs about which door to use we just chose the more official looking one. I think they must have wanted to expand and got the location next door too. There are a couple of other people in here; all locals it seems; we were greeted so nicely by a young guy, I really appreciate welcoming waiters. We chose a seat by the corner. One wall displayed like a store; different pieces of wood which might have been cutting boards and hand made hair bows made from duct tape, ok? I was confused gift shop or restaurant? The other wall wasn’t finished, like it was still drywall and the plug ins had no coverings which seemed pretty dangerous. There was a random tv at the front of the room playing soccer above colorings by children, there is another wall with extremely random framed photos, none of which are even close to hanging evenly. The tables covered in yellow and white plastic cloths and the walls are yellow. So much yellow. The waiters and waitresses were really tentative and nice but again, it was pretty sketchy. The pictures of food here on Unilocal looked good so I was hoping for a pleasant surprise. My ham and egg scramble was just that meat and eggs cooked up together… The hash browns were still undercooked and not quite ready to eat. I was exhausted and ate them anyways. Boyfriend wanted biscuits and gravy but they don’t come with anything else but the biscuit and gravy and got a side of bacon with it; the biscuits were undercooked and the gravy was thiiiiiiick and had garlic in it? Weird but he ate the whole thing anyways. The bacon was cooked perfectly. I just wouldn’t recommend looking to go out for a nice Sunday morning breakfast and going to this place. I wouldn’t come back here. I think they need a manager or owner who is involved.

Wonderful place. Went on a Wednesday morning. They had an obvious unexpected rush. The waitress took it like a champ and service was outstanding. The food selection was great and the servings plentiful and reasonable. The place isn’t much to look at on the outside, but they obviously have been there for a long while and I can see why. A definite new favorite when we hit the coast.

Don’t expect a lot from this place. I was really looking forward to an eggs Benedict. They’re my favorite kind of eggs, so I’ve had them before and know what they should taste like. However, when I took my first bite, I could tell right away that the hollandaise sauce was not right at all. It was a sharp taste like there was mustard in it or just too much lemon juice. I almost couldn’t get through it. I hated to be rude and send it back. That’s not the kind of person I am. However, the sauce needs to be worked on. My husband’s pancakes were ginormous! Thankfully, they tasted like I expected. Fluffy and delicious. So enjoy the pancakes! The service was friendly but the professionalism seemed to be lacking.

Was in Lincoln City for Memorial Day weekend, and looking for somewhere kid friendly, inexpensive, but with decent breakfast food. Admittedly, we stopped at Pig N Pancake first, but there was a long wait, so we stopped by The Corner Café. There was no wait, and the couple walking out said it was good. We were greeted warmly, seated immediately, and the very friendly waitress engaged out two-year-old, and interacted with him nicely. We had the special crab and cheese omelette, the special Popeye omelette(mushrooms, cheese, spinach, and bacon) and our son had the two eggs and pancakes with a side of sausage. All items were well prepared, nicely presented, and delicious. Service was attentive and friendly, they clearly managed a good rotation of customers, telling one small family there was another entrance with more seating on the other side, while taking orders from and serving already seated parties. My only complaint is a minor one, that the coffee was weak and not very good — it was drinkable, but not a great cup. Definitely recommend and will eat here again!

Okay, I happened to stumble in here trying to find a different breakfast spot that has since closed there doors. I walked in with my family and the décor was drab and dirty. The staff was friendly but looked as though they just rolled out of bed– no shower, nothing. I asked my husband if we could leave. He, not wanting to be rude insisted that we stay. The menu was extremely pricey, looking at my surroundings. My son said his orange juice taste like cough syrup. When our food arrived it looked similar to the surrounding restaurant, drab and questionable. My eggs Benedict even came with a long hair. I sent my plate back, opting to skip breakfast all together. My husband and son ate there meal but are hoping to forget the experience all together. Friendly people but awful food with«tourist prices.»

We read a lot of reviews, needed breakfast and stopped in. I had the biscuits and gravy and my husband had the chicken fried steak. The food was good, not the best breakfast ever but good, the portions were decent. The gravy was obviously homemade and the biscuits were very large and fairly flakey. Overall, a decent breakfast for sure, we would go back.

Started with a side salad, for someone that likes salad theirs was not good. Bagged lettuce with bagged cheese. Cheese Burger & fries next, was asked how I would like my burger-medium. It was well done and my bun was burnt. The three other people I was with had about the same deal. The only good thing was the fries. Won’t come back.

We stumbled upon the corner café on our weekend trip to Lincoln City. We wanted a place that was not over ran with people so that we could sit down talk and enjoy our meal without a loud atmosphere. We had never been to The Corner Café. It sits right on the outskirts of Lincoln City. There was only a few people in there when we got there. It was a very cute, clean and fun atmosphere. We ordered the ½ pound burger with fries A clam chowder bread bowl(a MUST have when visiting the coast) And a side order of Onion Rings The service was fast and the ladies were very nice! The food was some of the most delicious food we have ever had! It was fresh and hot. We didn’t have even one complaint we will definitely be back anytime we are in Lincoln City! The corner Café is a MUST if you are in Lincoln City!

I was there for breakfast with two other people and we each had two pancakes, hash browns and two eggs fried. Our bill was just over $ 32 plus a tip. I felt like that was fairly excessive for what we got. However, the server was very friendly and the food was what I had expected, I just didn’t expect to pay $ 5 for two mediocre pancakes. I might go back to try their fish & chips, I’m not sure yet though.

Tried their new location on a Tuesday morning with some friends. We didn’t care for the décor(or lack of) or the musty seats and tables or the blaring loud TV playing tv land reruns. We ordered corned beef and eggs, pancakes and an omelette. My friend couldn’t even finish the pancakes because they were undercooked and tasted ‘off-like something may have gone bad in the mix’ per my girl friend. The omelette was bland, no spice, obviously frozen veggies that were still wet and my corned beef was out of a can. Eggs were scrambled way too dry for all of our tastes. Waitress was very friendly and got to us as quickly and as often as she could which was the only positive aspect of an otherwise disappointing meal. None of us will be coming back I’m afraid.

Busy street but parking can be found directly behind the restaurant. The family got the Halibut Fish & Chips and the Salmon Fish and Chips. Both were excellent. Small restaurant at the north end of town and another larger location at the south end, each with the same menu. Don’t pass this one up for a great meal with perfect portions.

Hubs and I dropped in here on the way home from a weekend camping at Beverly Beach. I’ll be honest — our intended lunchtime stop was another place, but they were closed. I had the eagle eye out for fish and chips, and the garish writing on the windows stating just that drew us in. What a funky little building — it’s two rooms completely separated. We sat on the right side, which was slightly less junky looking than the left. The place is clean, but it’s a disorganized, rough looking mess… which is par for the course for Lincoln City, for the most part. The service was fast and very friendly. The staff there is the shine of the place. This was a Sunday morning — Mother’s Day, actually — and the place was half full of what appeared to be local regulars. Service was quick and attentive, and our meals came quickly. Hands down, the best fish and chips I’d ever had. The halibut was awesome, and they use a very light dry fry so you are tasting light, grease-free fish. The tartar sauce is house made, and it is bright and tasty, again not heavy and greasy like some are. Hubs had the clam strips, which our waitress admitted they did not bread there, but regardless, they were of a nice size, very tender, and very tasty. Serving sizes appear huge, due to the MOUNTAIN of fries they give you. And they are good fries, too, but I would have preferred half the fries and one more piece of fish instead. We chatted with the waitress as she cleared our plates, and mentioned we had to get back to the truck because or dog was waiting for us. She said, «You aren’t going to take her a little something, not even a few fries?» I explained that giving fries to this old Swiss Shepherd would be a regrettable act later on this evening. «What about bacon? Surely she can have some bacon?» Greta would have killed me in my sleep if she knew I passed up a chance for her to have some bacon. «Uh, sure!» I said, and the woman went back and got a piece of bacon for me to give her. So Greta would certainly give it five stars. ;)
